Happy New Year! Really happy to see a standalone offshoot of Aeon Trespass Odyssey. I'm hoping they also have some reprints of the original core pledge in there since I missed it.
Love marvel United and I am excited. Marvel United has become my favorite game especially when you use the ultimate campaign mode from BGG. IM in on elder scrolls I love TMB. I don’t know if I need more aeons tresspass. I have the all in and 2 more expansions coming. But I am intrigued about herkales and the famous stories.

New update for MU today talking about the new mechanics! hype!!
Ascension is a very good deck builder! It is easy to learn, smooth, not too complicated, and game are short! I like deck builders but something like Dominion is too complicated and can’t get the wife to play.
Street Fighter will be an interesting one to watch. Can Kolossal's positive rep overshadow the Balcklist name on that box? Also, the good that came with BL was the design chops od the Sadler brothers and I would guess they will not be involved here.

Thanks for these. I've been following Sankokushin for what feels like years and despite beautiful art and minis I really need to see some actual gameplay and playthrough demos now. The hype has waned so AM are going to need one heck of a campaign to get me to back.
10:42 I am not good at games which have too many tactics. Two (2) examples, for me, are Five Tribes and skirmish games. Five Tribes is a game I thought I would love going into it, but because in a 4-player game, you may very well have to wait 7 turns before your next turn, it is a game in which you CANNOT plan your next turn in any way (unless you were last in turn order the last turn and you bid to go first the next turn - so that you have back-to-back turns) since the board state is constantly changing. The skirmish game genre is tricky. I always feel like I SHOULD like skirmish games, but in reality, I just never know which move to make since there are so many different hexes/squares/etc. to move to and/or different actions to take, that it leads to AP (for me, at least). (The one exception is chess, where I love the tactics of forks/double attacks; pins; and skewers - besides the long-term strategy. However, chess is different because it is a 2-player only game in which the board state will only ever change once after your turn before coming back to you). For me, there needs to be some strategy involved in the game - something which helps me decide why I should pick action A over action B, action C or action D.

I don't have any of it and have been looking at it for quite some time. Dante's Inferno from Creative Games Studios is intriguing. There isn't much info released yet because they are focusing on finishing and delivering Chronicles of Drunagor Age of Darkness-Apocalypse. But CoD has been a really enjoyable experience, so I'm looking at what they do next.

I only recently heard of shadows over camelot and I find the concept and gameplay intriguing. However I keep hearing about how the game is broken but I'm still curious. Maybe I should consider watching among cultists?

Two completely different games. Shadows is pretty straightforward with a traitor element. This is definitely more complicated from a deduction standpoint more like werewolf(ish)
Backing the Marvel United just to add to the collection. It’s getting played slowly with my boys. Also backing Elder Scrolls since I liked Too Many Bones and this seems a sideways evolution of that and Cloudspire. Also going a dollar on OrcQuest Warpath which was saved by Monolith since I’m a original backer. As for Mortal Kombat, Jasco games was bought by another company which has put the game on hold, maybe indefinitely.
None of these tempt my wallet thankfully. Been slowing way down on backing these games although a few are still en route or just arrived from earlier campaigns.
Marvel United Multiverse could bring in Black Winter or the Living Tribunal as the big bad's. Not going to get the game because my group doesn't like it.

I've played Marvel United almost 200 times so far, and counting. As a light co-op, it's fantastic.
I do. Easy to table, quick play. And easy to put away.

@Pol Fig I think these types of games are important to have in a collection. Quick playing and quick setup/ teardown and, of course, fun.
@Azerty cent Uno is a money-grab. You can play the same game with two standard decks of cards.
