Today’s wanna be country singers need to listen, this is what country is all about!! Not beer and beaches and naked girls jacked up trucks, rapping the country lyrics. It’s just good ole country that you can relate too every time you hear it!! My opinion it was a simpler time back then without all the internet and social media that we have today!!

This was always one of my favorite albums by the two of them. It brings back sweet memories for me. I remember hearing it for the first time when I was just a few years old back in the late 60s listening to it on my grandpa's 8-Track while my grandma was babysitting me on her farm in Ohio. We later moved to a farm in Colorado but every time I hear one of the songs on this record it brings back memories of that fun and innocent time.
omg.. remember the 8 tracks? how hard it was to replay a song? or having to put matchbooks under the tape? my mother and father had a tape player and one huge homemade speaker covered in some kind of upholstery fabric. ugh so ugly. she used to blast this and elvis and waylon with all the doors and windows open. the woman down the street played her freddie fender just as loud!

These two singers are so terrific together, arguably the best duet in C&W history. When I listen to them, watch them sing together and look at their contact in the album covers I find it hard not to believe there wasn't something special between them.

This was always one of my favorite albums by the two of them. It brings back sweet memories for me. I remember hearing it for the first time when I was just a few years old back in the late 60s listening to it on my grandpa's 8-Track while my grandma was babysitting me on her farm in Ohio. We later moved to a farm in Colorado but every time I hear one of the songs on this record it brings back memories of that fun and innocent time.
omg.. remember the 8 tracks? how hard it was to replay a song? or having to put matchbooks under the tape? my mother and father had a tape player and one huge homemade speaker covered in some kind of upholstery fabric. ugh so ugly. she used to blast this and elvis and waylon with all the doors and windows open. the woman down the street played her freddie fender just as loud!

Doubt if they did anything but Conway's fans blamed Loretta for breaking up his marriage. At least according to what I was following in th late 70s early 80s.
