  • The ratings for Monday's WNBA draft rivaled 2003’s NBA draft. But before possible endorsements, the base salary for every rookie in the WNBA is a fraction of 1% of the highest-paid NBA rookie.

Compare profits from each league first

  • @Hymie-gt9gv

Can't make money when they hand out wnba tickets 😂

  • @jaytaylor2312

    😂😂😂

Uber drivers get paid about $0.85 a mile for using their personal vehicles, compared to taxi drivers who get paid $2.50 a mile for using company provided vehicles. You want to talk about disparaging pay?

  • @Nativefall

ugh…here we go again. NO ONE WATCHES THE WBNA

    Stop pushing these lies.

  • @DarthWaffle.

Do we need to go over this again?

  • @kicknowledgesmith8608

They don't care about women, just Clark. Women aren't exactly flocking to these games or watching on TV. Comparing Clark to male professional players is nonsense. The media using her to push feminism. Clark hasn't said a word about pay.

  • @mooknick242

they should just be happy they are getting paid at all, they have to give away tickets, they sell zero merch, No One watches it.

  • @beardownbitches4074

"Pay disparity" 😂😂 people hardly go to the games that's why. People need to stop blaming men when men are at these games more than women

  • @oldguy2764

If there was a dude on her team, claiming that he is a chick, she would not be the best player. Not even close.😮

  • @Datcrit

WNBA players also get a free apartment + a car paid for by the team

The Las Vegas Aces' average attendance in 2023 was 9,500, which is the highest of all the WNBA teams. The league average was 5,996, with the total league attendance being 72,000. The lowest team in the NBA was 16,448, almost three times more than the WNBA average attendance and almost 7,000 higher than the Aces'. The NBA also had 22.5 million people attend the games.

Whenever "WOMEN" want to support the game, this perceived pay gap will be resolved....however if you keep pushing this narrative, many supporters will become disenchanted.

  • @AD-dq6ml

    Stupid stupid stupid comparison!

  • @SuperMogul

That's an amazing business model, you can lose $10 Million a year. But yet want a pay raise, hilarious!😃

I think Bill Burr had some thoughts about this.

  • @SubFlow22

If you are outraged by this pay gap, please, watch the WNBA and spend money on their merchandise. This is why the gap exists. More people watch NBA.

  • @m.g.3679

Let's talk about true pay disparity! WNBA vs teachers, first responders etc. If same logic applies, where income is not important, there should be no disparity of pay among these groups. Will media get outraged about that DEI pay disparity?

  • @jeepthing98

You have to make more than you cost. I have never watched a WNBA game in my life and I'm in my 40s.
