As a kid, I never questioned Pig Guy in the villain's group. We didn't have much access to the older episodes, so I always assumed he was just someone I never saw. In the last few years I've gone all in again on Power Rangers and he literally only shows up for this movie.
The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are unable to use their powers to escalate conflicts. They're unable to morph until they know they need to, same with summoning zords and weapons.

Brad also provided the voice of the Gold Zeo Ranger, in that character's earliest appearances. There's actually a fun "gag dub" video for VR Troopers that references the White Ranger hullaballoo. Loved this movie as a kid, Ivan Ooze scared me and reminded me of Jack Nicholson’s Joker in the tv scene. The Ooze stuff he was trying to sell really creeped me out and loved the beginning skydiving part

I just bought this on VHS at a yard sale the other day! It was in a box of VHS movies I paid $2 for and had this and a Band of Brothers VHS box set, and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
First ad break had a Steamed Ham ad and it was placed right after they mention Bulk and Skull and the music sounded like a new theme for them 😆 I was listening to the video and it took me a moment to look up and realize what the heck was going on

I am a couple years older than Tony and never really got into Power Rangers in the 90s. My oldest kid found it on Netflix around 2013 and started watching the series with me. I honestly enjoyed it more than I expected. Very reminiscent of Saved by the Bell for me.

Just to add a little nerdiness-the Ninja Rangers corresponded to what eventually became the Alien Rangers (taken from Kakuranger) and the only reason they brought that storyline in before Zeo is because they finally ran out of footage from Zyuranger AND Dairanger.
if you want good power rangers stories told with more modern day sensibilities targeted towards an older audience, then I highly recommend the shattered grid comics event from boom. its an alternate timeline that forks off of the first season of the show. it is everything modern day power rangers fans wanted and more. you can tell the writers really cared about the story they were telling.
One last comment before the official video drops . The characters are great in this movie . The fighting is perfect . I like how the helmets can like target the bad guys . Ooze is amazing . The whole story with the ooze and the parents becoming zombies works for a kids movie . The megazord scenes are great. Im sorry but I can’t imagine what you don’t like about this . Good music . That rollerblading scene and them falling from the sky!! I dunno man. I think ur tripping. Also tony you the man keep it up buddy.
I had that whole animal Zord when I was a kid , but I can only remember playing with it a few times before I lost it or it was stolen 🤔 this was over 25 years ago after all

That is a line he does say in the movie when he's in disguise. Though we never see it happen to any of the parents. The movie sort of just expects us to assume that maybe that's what happened.

That is a line he does say in the movie when he's in disguise. Though we never see it happen to any of the parents. The movie sort of just expects us to assume that maybe that's what happened.

The CGI in Scorpion king is WAY worse..

Your channel should be bigger then what it is. You were born in the golden ages. Endless amount of movies during this time. You should do Mighty Ducks, Demolition Man, Some Jackie Chan movies. I wouldn't be against seeing you reviewing cartoons series. But keep up good work.
