Hey Broski, I like how you started on this story. If you mess with nature sometimes the elements pushes back. The hardest thing about adrenaline junkie is that in order to get that rush you willing to face death in the face and experience something for the first time. Everything in your being should have gave you clues and even your friends. I actually thought you were trying to swim in that rough water until I saw you running in there, I am glad you were ok and save. We all have to do something stupid in life, we live and we learn. The ocean is very powerful, it doesn't care what age, gender, experience people have, they just take victims. Thanks for sharing your story.

i grew up exactly in this area and common sense always prevailed .......we body boarded everywhere here and never had an issue...I'm 53 now
