My great uncle from S Italy brought over 2 fig sticks in 1910 when he came to the USA. He worked on local Los Angeles farms and planted his fig cuttings in pots , until he got married and a small house in Hollywood. I remember eating his delicious green figs . He would pick large boxes to give away
My problem of growing figs from cuttings is they rooted so much but no green what’s so ever. How do I deal with them? I saw roots bound so I transplanted them to bigger pots but there’s still no green even after 3-4 months? Would love to hear your advise
I was able to get some clipping from my grandfathers fig tree. He had passed for almost 20 years now. Today I have finally almost a dozen that have taken root and have leaves. I've failed in 3 other attempts. The original tree is in Virginia and I live in Chicago. How do I over winter them to make it next spring? They are in red solo cups as of right now. Thank you
I’ve got a bunch of different types growing. They are all rooted cuttings. I had a Dr.Gowatti that put on fruit and some little figgy plants that have fruits on. I’ve got 3 panache growing but aren’t large enough for fruiting yet. I think the desert will be perfect for them I also have a bunch of different pomegranates growing. Rooted cuttings. Good luck to you!
Every time I watch one of these videos....... I want to buy bags of Gary's Top Pot.
Thank you Gary and team!
Please talk more about propagation from cuttings in the next fig video. I want to grow my own so that I don't have to buy them.

My fig tree has root knot nematode. Is there anything I can do for it?

Can suckers growing around the base make good cuttings for new trees ? As a rule I understand suckers should be cut and discarded
Mound dirt around the base of the tree to get roots to grow from the suckers.
I have a Little Miss Figgy tree does it pollinate by itself
It does not pollinate itself, but you will get figs.
Will the Panache work in the desert where there's really low humidity pretty much all year round?
