The Cass Art shop in Islington, the Flag Ship Store, is amazing. I could spend all day in there lol!
I never realised they had proper stores, I always thought it was a online company 😂 .. by the way, is Ryman still around?
@@leonnehaaijman4709 Cass Art didn't have an online shop for years, just an amazing shop with amazing prices in Islington where all the art students went. When they went online their prices went up a lot more.
Yep Ryman still exists, it's owned by Theo Paphitis (of Dragon's Den fame). They're more geared to office stationery though.
Oh my goodness, loved watching g this video. Loads of goodies.. one next to the other. Wow. I always wondered what these stores looked like inside. Thanks for sharing this with us.
haha a peek into the UK Stores. It is hard to take everything in when you are there... I saw three things when I was editing this video that I wish I had bought lol!

If you can, go to the Flag Ship one in Islington, its the original one and much bigger and better.

Ugh! Our WHSmith closed about 3 years ago and Tiger closed last year after the second lockdown. All we have now is The Works and I have bought that shop 3 times over already. Oh wait.. we also still have poundland 🙃😋

You have a great choice of lovely shops, and a heck of a lot bigger to boot. My nearest Paper-chase is/was a 120 mile round trip!! Never heard of the Danish shop. Are those the pens that were dry? Love the “strictlyfied” case 😆
Yes, those Papermate Flair's weren't such a bargain, but WHSmith gave me my money back (by way of a Gift Card) so not all bad. Guess they're old stock!
Lovely trip! I watched the video before I read where you were, but I recognised the layout of The Works :-) Sorry to see in the comments that the pens weren't so great but thanks for the warning! There's a Flying Tiger where I work (our Paperchases closed) so I might have a look there tomorrow.
Hi Susan! Yes A couple of the Flairs were dried out, I posted (disgruntledly!) on Instagram about it. WHSmith have refunded the price by way of a gift voucher. I do think that Papermate Flairs are usually ok... I just think these were (very) old stock. Have fun in Flying Tiger 🥰
@@ArtJourneyUK In the end I went to Ryman, which has started to stock (at least at Canary Wharf) quite a few art-y things. I was looking for the Pentel Dual Hybrid pens which they have on their website but I couldn't see them in store. However, I did get a set of 40 Ryman gel pens (just £4.98 at the moment), a pack of ten Helix Colour Gel pens (lovely but the tops are a bit hard to pull off so they might not be a good choice for anyone with dexterity issues) which were £2.99 and three open stock Pentel Energel pens, which are my favourite kind for writing at work. I bought a new purple one because I have a load of refills and my original pens have given up the ghost after ten years of sterling service (and two boxes of refills from Amazon) but I also got a bright teal one and a lovely dark blue one which I haven't seen before. Now I just need a load of meetings at which to take notes...

@@ArtJourneyUK Yes, I think so. I live near the Wharf and I've worked here since 2003. Westfield is my large shopping centre of choice due to All The Shops but the Wharf is handy.

Loved your haul. I'm glad I don't go to these shops in my city (Nottingham) I think I'd end up with a massive overdraft. There's so many goodies in the shops. Xxx

Oh man! I wish we had stores like that in Mexico! We do have Office Depot, Office Max and Lumen which is more geared towards art supplies, but it is not as nice as those stores and the prices are much higher!
Yes, I think we have some good shops too. I enjoy looking... and trying not to buy!

WHsmith blendable pencils are really really nice. They just don't do them in a big enough set.
Yes, the own brand ones. I have a set myself, such good value.
