    I wish you could use words other than "nice" to describe the spray. Was it smooth? Was it even? Was it uniform? Does the nozzle with the extra channels make a difference?

      It is smooth and atomization is excellent!

    Nice. I have recommended after watching many cleaning vids., that one should rinse the cup and needle with water or warm water to get rid of cleaner which all airbrushes suffer from plating wearing off......thanks....

      Thanks man!! Yea you can use warm water, I just use thinner in all mine and havnt had any issues yet after 36 years of air brushing.

    Awesome Manny.... I have both brushes and love the GHAD-68, wait until you try that! The funny thing I just shot my review video of the 30 brush... Lol My video is not as good as yours... Lol The 68 will not disappoint you at all and it feels great in your hand. Trust me, I liked it so well I bought another 68 when they were on sale. They have been running special's on all there brushes! They mean to take over the market I think... Lol

    I just picked up one of these after watching your video and tried MCW enamels with the hardener and it was an epic fail. Not sure what I did wrong as I thinned them out and added their hardener. But long story short the body is back in the purple pond. I took the brush all apart and cleaned it hoping for better results this time around. Is there a paint that is pre thinned that you would suggest for a beginner so that I can spend more time learning the air brush and less time cleaning it as it seemed to clog quickly. Using a timbertech compressor at about 18 psi and I was first cutting the paint per MCW instruction then I tried 50/50 with a little bit of hardener no bueno. Thanks for any help you can give so I can get some paint on this 70-1/2 camaro!

      Thanks man they are awesome air brushes! That sucks man sorry to hear that! I havnt used the MCW enamel paints yet. Busters custom colors is pre mixed and ready to spray, MCW also has lacquer ready to spray too and so does Scale Finishes.

      Thank you I appreciate it! The HP-SC is a great air brush. If your just starting to airbrush it will be great for ya, just a matter of getting used to it like any air brush really. After trying this one GHAD-39 especially with the .5mm needle its my goto for air brushing models lol

    Great review! I was thinking of getting this one or the Neoeco SJ83, after this review I’m going with the Gaahleri . I’m kind of new to the airbrushing, I had a old badger single stage. When you mix your paint your ratio is 4:1? I’ve never used that Mr. Color leveling thinner. Can you use that on acrylic paints? I’ll give it try. Thanks.

    • @Mannysscalemodeling
      @Mannysscalemodeling  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey @nitro Thank you! I have never tried the Neoeco line before. I had a Badger 150 I still have lol. When Im spraying Tamiya paints i around a 4:1 mix. Then if you need it thinner just add more Leveling thinner. The Mr Color Leveling Thinner is awesome for many reasons! The only Acrylic paints I have tried it in are the Ammo Cobra Motor paints. You will be more then happy with that Gaahleri GHAD-39! I will be using that in all my videos when air brushing models! Love it!! Let me know if you get it and if you have any questions feel free to email me and I will try to help you out
