Excellent Fab Job! The Allis Chalmers in the background makes watching the video even more pleasurable...lol. A/C man here, but that JD sure does look like it will get any job done that's thrown at it. Thumbs UP!!
Surely the only US articuled JD tractor with conventional 3 points MF system plow attachment. ^^ Nice traction, equal to italian professionnal mini-tractor products.
I would love to have my 330 or 316 custom. I am about to have all the parts to convert both to power steering and double spool hydraulics. After that the double brake pedal and then I will build the attachments.
@NutStretcher I don't know it seems to handle it pretty well. Seen it in other videos and dang thing works good. Those little tractors are pretty tough you would be amazed at how much they can handle.
its a John Deere 318 the engine is a Onan P218 gasoline 2-cylinder air-cooled horizontal-shaft opposed twin 47.7ci Bore/Stroke:3.25x2.88 inches 18 hp 3600rpm. The Onan P218 was used in the John Deere 318 from 1987, serial number M00318X420001, through the end of production. Source Tractordata.
One Question one thought. What is the power unit, would taller diffs help, I.E 4:11 to 1 instead of 3:56 to 1 . Just a thought on a brilliantly thought out unit.
That machine is powerful for a small unit, but I don't think I would want it to pull three plows though. If that machine can pull 3 plows then my J.D. 790 can pull a 2 plow attachment.
It takes a lot of work and money to build something like that. Custom fabrication,, searching for parts,, waiting for parts,, putting it together and finding that this part won't work with that part or its not going together the way you thought it would. Some things you change along the way. Building something like that is hard and not easy. The person who posted this video has the power to delete the stupid replies.
hey nice job but too much furrows for the engine i guess... two furrows is the ideal if it was a disc plough with 3 discs it would pull it nice beacause the soil will not made friction on the plough
i would say its well designed pretty well. even though they are small plow shares, there is three of them and they go in fairly deep. it just seems like the tractor pulls well for its small size. But I bet it would grunt harder if it were plowing ground that had never been broke. That piece he was working on reminded me of my 12 acre lawn, which is not virgin prairie
@@RJ1999x Yeah, I'm an old Simplicity driver...I know about the 720 and Simplicity 4040. They're considered Sub-compact utility tractors, not garden tractors. I wish I had the room for one. Great machines.
what I like about it the most is that its not only for show. He actually uses it for work
whoever built this tractor did a very professional job ! I assume the chop in the audio stream is due to the camera ? very impressive build though.
What a use of technology! Showing how garden #tractor work perfectly. With the use of garden tractor, the laymen save our time. Impressive video.

the plow wasn't level side ways , the front was cutting deeper than the back.
This is how innovation happens basically. A full hydro ag3 very nice job
Me and my dad are building something like that out of 2 Deere 316 tractors. Could you tell us how to put the front axle in and how to drive it?
I can't believe it pulled a 3 bottom plow that well. Insane.

Breaking sod is tough work, and that was heavy clay soil. I'd say it did darned well!!

Disculpe señor este modelo si se encuentra en las sucursales de la misma marca en Mexico?
excelente projeto!
sounds alot like a steiner 430 when its working...the hydro system and engine sound is identical.

LOL... The thing looks like it only Plowing 4 inches deep?
did most of that used to be a JD 318? Nice job. Looks rather usable and reliable. :D
nice what year is that ?
very imp.& informatie news 4 every former.👍👍
How much HP does that thing have? And what other things can you do with it other than plow?
did the tractor come with the three bottom hitch? or you attached the hitch yourself ?

That 320-4 come factory 4x4 ? and did you build the 3 bottom plow or is it a factory built ?
What size plow points are used on the plow?
@shmunter2 you would need more weight to get traction with duels
Thanks for sharing. 👍
Dunno what powers that , I see a lot of those little tractors powered by Briggs 2 cyl. , Nice tractor though , I want it .
Buen .
Una pregunta, de cuantos caballos de fuerza tiene y de cuantos cilindros es

Nice toy! How much is the max drawbar pull of that J.D???
Awesome, If it was mine instead of that homemade bumper/grillguard I'd have a whole rack of suitcase weights hanging across the front of it.

that 320 was built from two different tractors.. is becoming popular these days.. the plow i think is possible to buy from JD
Now that machine is doing some work
Me interesa un equipo como estos pequeño . donde puedo encontrarlo.
how much this John degree of G 2010
John Deere...not Degree?
is this for real?
Ok ok that’s enough showing the tractor for 45 min, let’s see it work yammer
i can hear the "whine" characteristic of hydrostat . ealy frame shows filter on rear trans.
wow what a tractor! a little bit of disapointment for me when he started it though I expected the puff of smoke from a yanmar.

Nice tractor and i'm a I.H guy .

Pity the plough (plow) isn't made to work as good as the tractor. The reason it leaves a poor finish is because it cannot be set up properly!
