I always enjoy your perspective. A couple questions for you. Now that you’ve done this for a good length of time, do you have a rubric for how you score games? Also, I’m curious if you feel most gamers have a bias or favoritism toward games with larger boxes. I’m not accusing you of anything, just wondering your opinion on it.
When I rate a game I generally look at any faults mechanically I find, the decision space a game has, the replay value, the aesthetics, possibly it will get dinged if it's extremely similar to other games, and just in general how much I want to continue to play that game. I would say big box games are going to get more love usually since a good chunk of the time they have the capability of having more depth. I do also believe if you make a great small box game, it will get its recognition. The best score I've given to a game recently was Knarr, and that is a small box card game. I was planning on doing a video sometime here and going into more detail of how I rate games. Maybe I'll move that video up.
Thanks for the review and playing!
Have played Mythic Mischief once at a convention. Enjoyed it, would like to get a few more plays in.
Thanks for making the review. Good to hear Thunder Road is dumb fun. Look forward to playing one day.

Stonespine Architects is a hit for me as a solo gamer.
I like Mystic Mischief but some people don’t like it because of the “chess” feeling to it
I haven't tried it solo, may have to do that. I could see it being a good quick solo.
