I do not have the same options for Photo Note on my S Note app. I just have the '+' icon on the main S Note screen. Another thing is when I do get to photo note mode, there is no rectangle that selects text like yours showed at 3:28. Any suggestions to fixing this or why it's not available? Awesome tips series by the way. Thank you!

do you need to apply much pressure for s pen to be recognised by the phone or our is feather smooth? note 3 and neo versions had much pressure requirement which was cumbersome

I have a note 5,, however I do not get the same screens you show in your demo. S Note screen does not show the same options you show in Ep 3 when you demo the photo mode in the S Pen screen. Any thoughts why I do not see the same screen. Thanks,

Just wanted to know. I have been using Note 5 since December 2015 and now noticed that S-Pen start writing on screen without touching it. It seems some magnetic connection b/w S Pen nib and screen. It also locked the app where the nib is pointed. Please guide how to get to normal function of S-pen.
And its direct pen input is also non-responsive despite the fact that it is on in the settings.

since your phone is still under warranty I assess, you might wanna rule out any hardware/software issues so maybe show it to the Samsung centre.

when sharing something in a text. when the s pen us out the note 4 used to allow a shortcut when you hovered over the contacts icon within the text and show recent contacts. is this feature no longer available?

You can download the app if it's not installed I'm sure. When you pull your pen out hit the settings or the plus and add the app of your choice from the options.

How can I download various languages in S note?
does anyone use excel in note 5? i work with very basic excel and email. i'm generally more inclined to iOS than to Android, but i really like the features with S Pen, and it doesn't seem as a mere gimmick. Want to get a new phone, either a 6S Plus, or a Note 5. Anyone with some experience with office on a smartphone?

cuz they're not at all needed on this one! I was totally leery about that very thing when deciding on this one - actually ended up choosing it over the S6 Edge because the store was all out, and said I could exchange the Note 5 for the S6 when they got more in as long as it's done within the allowable time frame. I had this for a week and was hooked. I've had it now for 7 months or so and I'm a heavy user. With the space it came with, all the cloud options, the auto-deleting of unnecessary files, and the power management, I am nowhere near using up half my storage space, and the battery still performs, charges, and lasts just like new! Judging from that, by the time a new battery would be needed, I'll be upgrading the device to a new one anyway! Not to argue, just puttin the info out for others with this same doubt as their deciding factor o buy it or not.
