I think silky woods is the safest BB for gourmand lovers of 2023 so I was curious about elixir. I do like fig but i don’t think I like green and gourmand. Good video ❤
Thank you for this in depth review. I absolutely love the original Silkywoods. I’ll go to my local niche store that carries this brand and pick up the travel size to test before investing almost $300 for the Elixir.
Yes, please do a travel size if you can, as it's not what I was expecting. I have come to really enjoy it...esp after the initial blast and it gets into the vanilla goodness at the mid and dry down. 😍 Thanks for watching, beautiful.
Hi friend. Thank you so much for watching, subscribing and for leaving such a lovely comment. :) I am glad the review was helpful. Happy to have you in the family. 🫶🏾
I have both as samples, i would wear silky woods for summer/ spring and elixir when wanting a bigger projection or more intense scent. I love both! ❤️ 😊 also love Ingenious Ginger, Wood Infusion and Desert Rosewood. Sunset hour is ok but doesnt last long on me...
Hey friend! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on this House and this new beauty. I agree with you...I think the OG is best for Spring Summer as the heat will help it to shine more. I've been loving Elixir this winter on really cold days. The dry down is the most luxurious yet cozy vanilla scent. 🥰
This is the only video I've found on this fragrance so far, and I have my free sample of Elixir coming in the mail. You've got me excited; I love green fragrances, and I'm curious to see how this green vanilla turns out. I enjoy Silky Woods, but it's not quite something I'd buy a full bottle of. I wonder if Elixir might feel more fb worthy 👁👃🏾👁
Hi beauty. Thank you so much for watching. I'm glad you got a sample, as this is a truly unique and complex scent...different than anything in my collection in the opening. But the dry down (which happens more quickly as this macerates) is absolutely beautiful. It is truly silk and golden and long-lasting. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have grown to enjoy mine. : ) xoxo
Hi friend! If you don't like green touches I don't think you'll like this one. The greeness is present for a while...especially when the bottle is new. What vanillas do you have so far?
@@Dr.Kerleen vanilla oud by vertus , Ani , Arabian oud tarteel silver , Mercedes Benz black , kayali royal patchouli - vanilla oud - vanilla 28 , grand soir , rifaqaat , and also bunch of middle Eastern that has vanilla in them lolll …. Mancera velvet vanilla -roses vanille , Rasasi ebhar , gentle fluid by barakkat , TF tabacco vanille , attar collection crystal love , Burberry goddess … plus body sprays like vanilla skin …. And I’m ordering Mancera Royal vanilla and I hope it will be nice. And that’s beside the other perfumesssss with other notes well our love for perfumes is real 😂
Thank you for sharing with me, lovely. You have a beautiful collection of vanillas! 😍😍😍 Let me know what you think of Royal Vanilla, please. Yes, the love is real, sis. 🥰🥰🥰
@@Dr.Kerleen I wanted to update you on Royal Vanilla by Mancera as soon as I sprayed it it gave me the same vibe as Kayali vanilla Royal sugared patchouli, the patchouli is giving like a chocolate patchouli with vanilla in the background just like Kayali ….. I just received it 2 days ago so I hope it will macerate and the vanilla will get stronger.

Thank you for watching, love! I agree that if green is not your thing you may have a hard time with the opening.

Vanille d’iris by Ormond Jayne is a beautiful green vanilla
@@rachelteam574 hi friend. Thank you for that recommendation. I will check it out for sure. Thanks for watching, too. 💕🙏🏾
This video popped up on my feed right before i was going to buy the original. Thanks for the explanation. You've earned a sub.
Glad I could help in your decision process! Thanks for watching. 💞
Is there any dupes? Or clones for either of these perfumes either one? Something cheaper?
Great question...I will definitely look into that. 🥰 Thank you for watching. 🫶🏾
Appreciate this video - sounds like I would love this one.
You are so welcome! 🥰
