AMC was a classy soap. 1st to feature young characters in the early 1970s. And 1st to include social conscience in the storylines (Viet Nam, abortion, AIDS in the 1980s)

At 1st I thought "Joanna" was Conchata Tomei from PROVIDENCE (circa 1998). Mistaken, not her.
