A little about Ed….
Ed is an elite cyclist, 2019 British Hill Climb Champion and former Under 23 British RR Champion. He has raced as a Continental level Professional Rider in Japan, Korea, Australia, Canada, Azerbaijan to name a few. He is also a public speaker, coach, and remains grounded with regular returns to his roots at Bynea Cycling Club. At the start of 2021, the Discord community began, and plonked many of Ed's viewers in to a 550+ strong group of people that had many things in common. Not least wanting to explore the world and pedal their bikes faster!

The Croix de Fer is one of my favourite climbs. The view of the three peaks of Aiguilles d’Arves is still my screen saver. I hope you had time to enjoy it Ed, it’s such a great area there. The Pass de la confession across to Alpe D’Huez is just 👌

Brilliant! Slightly different weather to Saturday-Tuesday for us hit 40degrees making Croix de fer, Sarenne, deux Alpes and col du sabot horribly hard work. Amazing scenery tho Ed, lap it up!

Your face - the excitment - brilliant. Col De La Croix de Fer is quite possibly the most stunning climb i have ridden so far. Hoping to top it in 30 days in the Pyrenees.

Very true about HR on those long hard GF. Especially if it's hot. If you go into the red too early you pay for it later. Pacing is critical.
