I swear there’s a rare breed of musician within this genre. Another diamond in the rough is Mark Pacheco from Aristeia, dude plays drums, guitar, and bass and he’s talented in all avenues.
Check out Buster Odenholm of like 3 bands of his own (Vildjarta, Humanity's last breath, Thrown) that he's either drums or guitars and mix/master/production creds with plenty other bands
@@nazman465 i wonder if there's literally anything really recorded live. cymbals are the only piece that sounds somewhat from the original live recording, but it's very much possible they are recorded in post-production as well. the drums themselves are 100% sample
I saw these guys in NC right before the shutdown. Didn’t dislike Silent Planet or anything... but Invent Animate and Currents carried the living sh*t outta that show. So good Also, 2:45
That crowd looks bonkers. I was at the show in Chicago, and I headbanged straight into the person in front of me in the pit; got a nice shiner from it and had to watch Silent Planet from the back after it. I/A shreds, and I can't wait to catch them live again.
Ok unpopular opinion so don't hate me: long time Erra and Periphery fan here, and this is the first time I listen to these guys... and well I find the drumming to be quite underwhelming and not very tight 😬
They have a lot of other crazier songs with better drum parts. This song is hard for its odd timing. When you hear the track itself and then the live performance, it’s pretty crazy how close they are to it
From the way this looks I know everyone had a good time but what concerns me is you see this room ., it looks very crowded , no one's wearing a mask , and one is left wondering how many people in the coming days out of this group are going to test positive for covid-19?
that snare was forged in heaven
Chris gazel is god, so it would make sence...
Huh yes
@@User-1901 Yes

I absolutely agree! My only question is: is this the edited sound by the videographer or what it actually sounded like on stage
Love Trey. Dude is a beast and helped out ERRA when they needed a bassist. Talent oozes from this man.
A drummer
A guitarist, and
A bassist
@@mfadel1012 and a vocalist (he screamed the end of Luna which is about his brother who committed suicide several years back)
Trey just joined Fit For A King as their new full-time drummer as well as full-time IA writer. Absolute madman
@@loganwelty7094 And he helps write IA guitar riffs too!

@@loganvanantwerp3659 seriously. these dudes are like overpowered as musicians
Jeez the mix is unbelievable!
that's all chris ghazel 👍🏽
Cuz it's all backing track and midi triggered drums... this is hardly a live recording.

One of the most underrated musicians on the scene today. Dude is amazing.
Mannn I've been waiting for this since this tour happened. Trey is the man. Such a tight band too, made some big waves this year.
Happy to see he tightened his foot playing !
The drumming on the last album is absolutely amazing
I was here for this legendary moment
Who knew we wouldn’t be able to go to another show for at least a year.
@@drummersanonymous I swear it feels like this was the last show in the US
The Trilogy Tour was the last show I saw before Covid, thank you for keeping that energy alive guys
I met the vocalist n he was so chill. Mane convinced me to buy one of there last shirts and I’m so glad I got it
My sons and I are on the left, on the rail. It was the first concert I took them to. its a pleasure to have been shown during our favorite song.
the guy @ 0:34 in the front row that takes off his glasses so he could headbang even harder had me deaddd
Invent, Animate was the last show at my local venue before the shut down and I'm so lucky I got to see them
Another magical mix by Chris Ghazel
Thanks!
That snare is so crsip, love it! Solid drumming
I wouldn't say crisp, but i would say it's F A T
More songs!! Crazy good mix
Unbelievable. His snare sounds so clear and that off tempo stuff is just godly! Hell yeah.
Incredible drummer, some of the best grooves Ive ever heard.
Love so much this type of videos. Can't see them without headphones. I need live concerts again!
When your mix and the playing is so good that people accuse you of using samples lol
That was incredible! These guys are going places.
Beautiful minimalistic set
Is there a luna song drum through?? Please!!
One of my favorite bands yet to see live
Amazing drummer as always🔥🔥🔥
What an awesome surprise!🤘
These guys are incredible! I want them on the podcast!!!
Trey is the definition of Beast Mode.
Just found this channel, holy shit

This show was stacked. It’s rare for me to like every band on a tour, but this one did it for me.
@@drummersanonymous oh man it was amazing. They all shred.

No doubt, this drummer is a monster!
Uffffffff powerrrrr 😎🙌🏻

My ring tone for a grip now 👌💪
man i saw them in sacramento and not a single person was standing (or could even stand) still GA gotta step their game up
Love the Energy! More IA if you have it please!
Trey, Im the guy that lives around the corner. Bring the guys over and do a show at my townhouse whenever.
Spotify wrapped 2020 suggests that I’m in the top 1% of their listeners.
Just sayin.

Was this at a college or something?

"this was recorded just before the shut down"
So what you're telling me is everyone at this event got covid lmfao
I think it could be more solid in my opinion... wrists are a little flub to me.. 🤷🏼♂️

This was filmed in early March right before the shutdown.
