Laksa in Penang is very different from the rest. It has the shrimp paste thats sweet and on the verge of being fishy. But if eaten while its still hot, its delicious though!😅😊
Assam Laksa needs about 23 to 26+ ingredients to make. You need a lot of love to prep at home. I rather eat outside. Centuries ago they didn't have Facebook and TH-cam so they had time to concoct this magic.
7:34 wow, you clean the bowl 👏👏 If you still in Penang, try the famous Laksa Janggus, Balik Pulau (asam laksa + fried banana + ais kacang) Ps: Balik Pulau is also known for its durian. You can get it fresh from farm but need to wait for durian season 😄
Laksa is normally eaten during breakfast and lunch, very rarely during dinner !
I just learned that in her car

Yes, I understand what you’re saying!! I thought it was the mackerel that made it that way.
My late uncle used to sell penang laksa both in penang and ss2. A lot of work peeling mackerel and boiling the soup !
The late Anthony bourdain called sarawak laksa the breakfast of gods
😮
@the.yellow.princess you can watch his documentary 'parts unknown'

You wore a black dress. A very good choice indeed, especially when eating laksa or other saucy dishes! 😂
I did not plan it, but you’re right!!
We not call napkin, just tissue😂
I’m learning this people always are confused what I’m asking lol
It is sour due to tamarind
I love the sour flavour!
@@the.yellow.princess me too.
omg this video literally make me so hungryyyyy, but I'm currently on diet help😂
Hehehe isn’t laksa healthy??
the sugar seasoning inside the broth high in calories😂
Frantic pace of eating certainly reduced the joy of enjoying Penang's trademark dish. Try Penang's Fried Kuey Teow next.
😅😅😅
Slow and steady. I am sure she will find char kway tiaw without problem.
Coming next Monday… 🤫
Asam laksa!! Om nom nom.. Hehe. Penang laksa the best!
It was very yummy, but I prefer the one that I had at the mall in KL 😂
@@the.yellow.princess Oh ok.. 😂 You should try the mamak rojak next time.. if you don't have peanut allergy. ☺
Thank you!
I also like laksa 😋🍜
Yummy!!
You like laksa?
Yes.. it was yummy, I had to have it being here too!
penang laksa not for me. too acidic. I prefer the east coast version that is heavy on coconut milk or the johor version that use spaghetti.
Yummy! My favourite so far is actually the Laksa I had at the mall in KL 😅

I really like your videos m3l, always cheerful, I enjoy watching them, if we could be friends later?
Thank you! 🙏 💛💫
Penang, Melaka and Singapore laksa have similarities because they are the traditional recipe of the Peranakan (Baba & Nyoya).
Ooh la la - next Monday I try another one too! 😅🤤
