- Thatandter Rampe is the latest German route for Train Sim World 2. In this video we drive a DB BR 612 Regio Swinger DMU passenger train from Dresden to Chemnitz, whilst talking about this brand new add on for train sim world 2.

as someone from saxony i can say that this route is a good recreation
This route keeps me on the edge of my seat the entire run. Whether it’s S-Bahn, regional, freight, whatever, you always have to stay on guard while driving as you deal with sudden steep gradients, speed changes, and stations. Although it makes it harder to just enjoy the scenery, I think the intense action makes up for it. This is a really good route

Thanks Richard, it's on sale for £5 so I've watched your playthrough, as I'm unsure. Yes it's only £5 ...but I ended up spending ~£800 on Train Simulator purchasing bargains like this 😱
The look and feel of the environment is more important to me than the traction, and being a Brit, I find European infrastructure and buildings austere and characterless. I also think catenary is ugly. However Main Spessart Bahn opened my eyes to rural German routes which are less affected and I've enjoyed it and played it heavily.
The countryside looks lovely although somewhat spoilt by the infrastructure.
I do enjoy getting to grips with PZB, and LZB in particular (robot driving!) so a positive is the GNT system (adjusted speeds for tilting train management) although it's simple enough to understand.
The throttle/dynamic brake control looks good and different to anything else I've seen (the G6 has it too).
The driver involvement is a big positive - it's a hilly and windy route, so the changing speed limits keep you safe on the corners.

Don’t get me wrong I genuinely love this route. It’s just blurry glitchy glitch that ruins that.
That black thing in the middle of the desk looks like a clipboard holder thing. Would be cool if they gave a way to add some paper with an image on it through livery editor, or just built-in to some of the scenarios :)

Ooh, didn't know you would do this DLC. But I know why you were drawn to this. Tilting trains. Oh yeahhhhhh baby. THE PENDOLINOS ARE COMING TO TSW2. ...maybe. In a few years.

Is it me or is this route super glitchy when you zoom in whether it’s on the controls in the cabin or at the station at Chemnitz or etc????. I picked up this route yesterday on my PS4 for TSW 4 and whenever I drive the Class 612 or other trains on this route or the train that drives passes you at @20:16 time stamp . So whenever I zoom-into the controls it becomes extremely blurry and it immediately starts to become glitchy and blurry. Any way to fix this please????.

Lorry no. I started my PPL so I have flown a Cessna. Something that I want to pursue once finances allow me to.
