Thank you for mentioning you started dancing at 19. I’ll be 18 in a few days and I’m really contemplating starting dancing. I’ve always wanted to dance but my parents could never afford it when I was a kid. I still can’t afford it but I would seriously love to start. I’ve took a few free online classes during covid lol but I had no idea what I was doing.

all of this dancing and singing and explosive vibes are the appeals for today's kids. that's why kpop is so popular the singing is great but the dancing absolutely shoves it over the top

Gotta watch the full episodes. By episode 4, the girls are singing live on stage while doing a dance number. The Siwa's whole premise is that if the girls can't handle the pressure of singing and dancing at a dance competition, they are not pop stars material. The dance competitions (though I question the validity of them, honestly) are just a jumping off point.

You are a little bit critical of an introductory video of the show based on your assumptions that the show is only about dancing, however, had you looked closer you would have seen the girls wearing head mics. For me, it's about the big picture getting the best potential young girls from across the US who have: 1. Danceability, 2. Capable of singing, 3. Has the looks, 4. Stage confidence, 5. Able to work as a team, as all these qualities are the starting point to creating the "Next Kids Superstar Pop Group", and as Jess had said the show is an eight-week audition to see who is going to be in the group.
I was reacting to it, not criticizing it, like I said in the video, I have no idea what to expect and haven't watched it yet, so all I can give is a first impression. I am super excited for the show, again, like I mentioned in the video.

But I do feel like I missed the window for it. But what you said in the beginning is inspiring because I also never got a chance to take dance classes. But I am a big theater arts girl!! I started acting at this Youth Theater as a young teen and now I also work there and still participate in shows from time to time. My main passion is definitely acting. ❤️🎭❤️
Ok, I must learn more about Mr Jordan Sparx, he is quite an inspiration having heard that opener...! Especially at the moment, ive come down with serious muscle loss and in just 2 months gave gone from being nearly totally normal to being barely able to walk or stand up out of a chair or bed...it is so awful and has left me so depressed, don't know what to do with myself...so to hear how he was able to get through what he did and start learning to dance at the age he did when most young dancers are either deciding to retire or start booking jobs..he is just learning and then within only a year is booking jobs.. Well, maybe there is a bit of hope for me somewhere, somehow, after all... stranger things have happened...they even made a Netflix show about it...! 🤣 (couldn't resist!) But seriously, thank you, Jordan...hopefully my ct scans, ultra sounds and mri will give me some answers somewhere and combined with all the therapy I might be able to sort something out to avoid a wheelchair for a couple of more yours at least...would be good to at least reach my mid 40s without 1, anyway...
Hi J... As I understand, the goal is to create a new mini all-singing, all-dancing girl band... (in fact, I have just seen - at 3:45 in your video - JoJo saying they are trying to create a new pop group). Insofar as the dancing is concerned, I know that, being a performer 1st and singer 2nd, JoJo occasionally puts down her (Freddy-like) microphone & stick to dance for her audience, so perhaps that is the reason why she & Jess are looking for dancers who can perform as well as sing. Have you watched JoJo's latest movie yet (The J Team)? Obviously, it is written for a young target audience, but the 6 original and 3 revised songs and the dancing make it a highly enjoyable romp for an old fart like me. BTW(1)... I admire and commend you for having the strength and character to be able to share your early childhood trauma with us. BTW(2)... broken bones take at least 6 weeks to mend, so try to stay off your feet and keep them elevated as much as possible (as much as you can) until Christmas. *_R_* 😎
The broken bones are very annoying! All the dancing and tumbling and I've never broken a bone! then I break my toe walking up stairs LOL. I have not seen the J Team yet, maybe I'll watch that today, I've been looking forward to it! I just finished watching the first 2 episodes of Pop Revolution and these kids are beyond talented!

She wowed the judges with the depth of her exceptional talent. Abby Lee Miller helped create worldwide interest in Dance by adding acrobatics to her lessons and performances. JoJo is about EXCEPTIONALISM. I've never seen anyone as capable in so many areas as she is. JoJo and Jessylynn will be disappointed if they are looking for another JoJo.. Such a multidimensional talent and intelligences comes about only once in a lifetime!

I don't really understand why some One would judge a whole season filled with 11 episodes based on the trailer....the kids are not only dancing but are also singing....the first 3 episodes the kids only do dance competitions....but in episode 4 we see the kids do vocal lessons and audition for singing and later on perform on stage (dancing while singing) this show is nothing like dance moms....might be a little bit like Audc but only like 5% of it except they are looking for a a group of 5 girls....so i would advise you watch at least 6 episodes before you can judge..... cause you have said more negatives than positives in your video
I agree, she doesn't have a set direction like abby. Abby was a trained choreographer who wanted to make successful competitive dangers and Broadway stars..it seems to me like Jojo is trying to do everything at once and is spreading herself thin. If I were her I'd make family friendly lgbt movies that are romantic, funny and entertaining. Like the Walt Disney for lgbt kids. I'd kill to see a gay cinderella.

As the show is titled DANCE Pop Revolution, I think there isn't going to be any singing on here, but there may be a little bit of it as we saw in the trailer. if you actually watch the show which i just did all the episodes u going be real salty and change your look on it they actually looked good and started singing after like the 2nd episode and jojo didn’t yell on the show not once !
Honestly I don’t think jojo is a pop star people like p!nk and Christina and Britney and Beyoncé and modona are pop stars jojo has no where near half of the talent I listed jojos brand is market for like 3-8 year old girls it never was wise to keep the child gig up because jojo will get older and parents will just start to find it wired that a 25 year old is marketing children’s bows so honesty jojo can’t really sing so I just don’t see her career lasting very much longer unless she comes out with a different strong branding .
Being a Star is about your celebrity Power. JoJo is just as big of a celebrity and has had just as much success with her music as people like P!nk or Christina did if you compare where they were at after 15 years in the business compared to JoJo at 15 years in the business. Just because her music appeals for children doesn't mean she is not a Pop Star. To kids under 12, she is the ONLY pop star right now.
