I started my student loan debt payoff at the same time and I remember feeling so defeated about the loans I was going to take out for grad school. Finding your channel at the start of that meant the world to me. It kept me motivated each month to keep going and gave me a community of people with the same goals! Thank you a million times over for starting this 🥺
Watching your videos inspired me to start budgeting and tracking my expenses. Now I budget every month, I’m debt free, and I just bought my first home. Learning how to budget has has helped me take charge of my life and it’s incredible!
Your first video totally helped me get better at my debt journey. Before you, I didn't understand the power of budgeting so thank you! Now, I'm in a lot more control of my finances and the way I approach it.
I started doing budget videos with my real numbers in 2016 - still do...I didn't discover you until long after. So I think that lots of people were doing them...the algorithm just doesn't pick everyone up.
I love the way you reacted to this! There’s so much depth. I’ve been following your channel for so long that it’s so heartwarming to see what’s changed and what hasn’t :) Every video you come out with re-inspires and re-motivates me to get my shit together in ways I never thought of! Love you Aja! Question: Aside from interest rates/principals, are there other major reasons to pay off “materialistic” loans (like for a car)? Or are the snowball/avalanche methods more important to consider?
Aja I love your videos so much. It really is the breakdown I needed to get on top of my finances. I have the master planner and I absolutely love it! One thing I would love to know is how many different accounts you have to keep your money organized and where. I know you mention it here and there but I feel like my biggest issue is keeping those finances separate from one another. How many are savings accounts, how many are checking, etc and how do you avoid fees. Thank you again!
Can you make a video on budgeting and still being fashionable. You seems to have nice clothing. How do you save and look fashionable ? How much money should be spent on clothing. I really can’t cut off buying clothes 😅
Can you tell us how you care for your bird of paradise plant? How do you water it without moving it? I’m assuming that is a cover pot and it looks too heavy to move.
Weird question but what are u drinking out of? Do u love it and if so, why? Also it really would be great for u to react to your debt free video. What was meeting Dave Ramsey like?
Are you a, spend on what you love and cut back mercilessly on the things you don’t, kinda person? I found that mindset better than, what you talked about. Cutting back on everything.
@@AjaDang He can be really brutal. When he works with people to set their budget, he almost never leaves any room for fun. Sometimes it's justified in a way, but most of the time I think he's being a bit too aggressive. Burnout is real and allowing freedoms here and there will prevent that.
Sometimes I wonder whether I could have made money off of my $155K student loan payoff journey if I had put it on TH-cam or something else. I am a mixed race female and only made high five figures during that time. (I finished in 2018). Water under the bridge at this point but when I see so many people doing it now I'm like "damn I missed out!"
Where were you getting $40 haircuts??? 🤯 My monthly acrylics, pedis, and massages have always been non-negotiable for me, even while I was paying off debt...personal finance is PERSONAL!
Hi Aja! Congratulations on moving to Houston! I messaged you on Instagram, don’t know if you’ll ever see it. But if you ever need a dog sitter I’d love to help! 🤍🤍
You were one of the reasons I started budgeting and taking debt seriously. A lot has happened since then. Whew! Thank you!❤

Your budgets video literally keep me sane! I’ve learned so much from you and they are my favorites. I don’t miss one
Thank you!
Hi Aja,
You were the reason why I started sinking funds back in early 2020.
Love to hear that!!
Your first video totally helped me get better at my debt journey. Before you, I didn't understand the power of budgeting so thank you! Now, I'm in a lot more control of my finances and the way I approach it.
You 100% inspired me! I share my journey on TikTok and always loved your transparency that keeps me inspired
Your videos inspired so much of my own debt free journey. I’ll forever be grateful I came across your content when I did.
Still looking amazing after six year! Can't wait to see more reaction videos.

I am so grateful for you sharing your journey, you have helped me so much. Thank you❤
You should do some sort of 5 years of budgeting video like a what I have learned from 5 years of budgeting. Sticking with it etc
Good idea!
I remember this first video so well! Loved watching your review of it!
Thanks so much for this video, Aja. Seeing your progress and learning from your channel has helped me a lot!
This was a fun one to watch! Love the reflection 🫶🏻

It’s actually easy for me to move and I water and drain it outside
Been on this channel for ages, wish I could see when I subscribed.
Love baby Aja.
Thank you!
How you budget or save if you have to use all your paycheck every time?
Where is your top from? It looks beautiful
Do you have an example/template of how to build an excel budget spreadsheet?? so lost on where to start!
This was so wholesome 😭
You should totally do reaction videos more often.

YEEEES, do not pay bank fees!!!!!
You look the same. You’re very pretty… I think you look better with your short hair than long, but that’s just my opinion… great videos, great job!!
What are your thoughts on Marcus?
You are just absolutely gorgeous ❤❤❤

I wonder what you think about Caleb hammer?? The financial TH-camr.
Don’t know Caleb

@@vr00mie87Ah. Not my vibe at all but if his audience finds value in it then at least there’s that.
