    Alan Moore is on point as always (we have high expectations, and they were met), but I really have to hand it to Stewart Lee for being so well researched and attentive and dynamic and sensitive to emergent humour in this interview. A fine 27 minutes and 41 seconds. I feel a guilt of noncontribution to have not paid to experience this.

    17:25 Alan detailing how bored he is with the stale Jack the Ripper mythos.. That is so damn funny. The policeman going "oh my gawd!". Hilarious. Alan Moore is a genius.

    I used to only ever read DC or Marvel comics when certain newsagents sold them of in bales for about 50p..
    luckily there was the odd US 2000AD reprint and once I came across a best of 2000AD MONTHLY, then it all made sense!

    Does anyone know the name of the Robert Anton WIlson writing where he tries out the different belief systems? Sounds very interesting.

      The closest RAW book that follows that synopsis is Prometheus Rising.

    When was this? It's obviously a while back, what with V for Vendetta not even being worked on as a movie yet.

    First I've seen, but as a kid, I loved Gilbert Stergeon, Crumb, Spain, Cohen and a few others. How about the guy who did dirty duck?

    I'd love to know now what Alan Moore thinks about V for Vendetta and The Watchmen - if, indeed, he has watched them... (who does?)

    • @DustyNothing
      @DustyNothing 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Says he hasn't watched them but thinks they're shit as he's been told how they detract from the philosophical points etc

      He didn't. I don't know what the OP was referring to but if it was Alan Moore he is incorrect.
