I live in Panama. Many of the issues discussed on this channel are applicable to Panama and Columbia. I had to go thru this back in the day during my first few years of living in Panama. Things like this happen when you are green. People naturally do not listen to advice at first. People are always giving advice but no one listens to it. You have to learn the hard way. After several hard luck stories I finally listened. Stick with woman closer to your age. If your wife or girlfriend is not willing to sign a prenuptial agreement before marriage drop her. Make sure you have a good attorney before getting married who can advise you. I had a Columbian gf I thought was special who dumped me for another foreigner we met in church. They got married 2 weeks later. Any kind of crazy thing like that can happen when you are with some of these pathetic woman. Its nothing personal for the ladies. Each person is different with different situations and needs. Relationships are really complicated if you really look at it, especially if you get married. Been married for 16 years to a Filipina with a 9 year age gap=it's been a rollercoaster ride which looking back, I wish I wouldn't have gotten married again. When money is the focal point of someone's happiness, what could go wrong? everything because it's never ending. Hard to find the "perfect" woman that's for sure. I'm still hanging in there and getting much older. You are lucky in away, she just walked away and your problem was solved without a lot of mess. It's much harder to walk away after being married for awhile. You get cut up pretty bad if you know what I mean.
Nothing complicated about relationships, unless you make them that way. It doesn't matter her nationality, women are women. Set your boundaries and stick to them. NO Exceptions! Keep it simple and life can be wonderful!!

His friend told him the stories of his co-workers in a ship who were married to the filipinas and they all have a good and happy life with them . He said to my husband find someone who is a TEACHER or a NURSE to be your gf or a wife . That was the reason why he found me as I put on my yahoo profile before when I created it that I was a teacher . Perhaps in their point of views teachers and nurses knew how to value the people , we care for others and understand the feelings of others and it matters to us the respect . We are family oriented . So my story is still kind of active but winding down I arrived in Davao July 20th I had met a lady on Christian Filipina and thought she's the 1 she's 23 turned 24 when I was here she met me at the airport with a half hug said she doesn't like to be showy in public.....then after about a week wanted to go to her parents for obligation's so i can't force her to stay so off she went so now its every week I'm going to my parents for 2 or 3 days and comes back a week later.....I was on my birthday Nov 28th she was here the 27th and left on my birthday about 2pm so for 5 months i have put up with this.....and finally she texted me asking if i really wanted her here and needed her ......and i told her well if you want to leave then its ok ill be alright so now I'm talking to another thats 30 and is completely different but kind of scared so who knows what ill do maybe be a hermit
Contact Christian Filipina and find out if she talking to other guys, they will tell you. Have you met her family? Filipinas wants to show you to her family asap. She sounds shady as hell. You should have dumped her week 1 man. There is no “the one” man, it’s a very rare thing. Just play the field, if she never has a bf before and is a virgin, maybe she has a good chance of being the one, but don’t get your hopes up, lead with your wallet, or treat her too good. Very very true😊 more often than not, sone foreigners are slobs😊. Do t practice good hygiene. Seems they are used to it in their cold country. We Filipinos are so particular with cleanliness in the house and good hygiene . Another thing that I notice is that the western culture esp. In family relationship is a far from the Filipinos culture. Some parents have nothing to do with their children when they reach 18 yrs old. To each his own……..so when they grow old they are just in the nursing homes waiting for their demise. with strange people caring for them while in the Filipino culture we lovingly take care of our parents and elderly in their golden years even if they don’t have much money.

“That’s the way it should be”. Not really. On a cultural value scale, on one end parents can put everything into the future, or children can put everything into the past. But by “investing” in the past no one becomes richer and the cycle continues. I’m not saying you shouldn’t care for your parents, but I am saying the generation that didn’t have a say on being here should get priority over people who’ve already lived long enough to see their grandchildren. I was talking about our differences to someone. Here a daughter will skip her rent to make sure her dad’s truck is fixed. And sometimes daughters have such pressure that they find ways to make lots of quick money, and the parents happily accept it. In the U.S. most dads would not be cool with their daughters earning quick money so he can have something paid. Does poverty create the mindset or the mindset create poverty?

I live in Panama. Many of the issues discussed on this channel are applicable to Panama and Columbia. I had to go thru this back in the day during my first few years of living in Panama. Things like this happen when you are green. People naturally do not listen to advice at first. People are always giving advice but no one listens to it. You have to learn the hard way. After several hard luck stories I finally listened. Stick with woman closer to your age. If your wife or girlfriend is not willing to sign a prenuptial agreement before marriage drop her. Make sure you have a good attorney before getting married who can advise you. I had a Columbian gf I thought was special who dumped me for another foreigner we met in church. They got married 2 weeks later. Any kind of crazy thing like that can happen when you are with some of these pathetic woman. Its nothing personal for the ladies. They will leave you for the next higher bidder. And, if you ever let yourself get into a situation where they have the upper hand, you are asking for big trouble. Don't take these risks. Be respectful. But, trust no one.

Each person is different with different situations and needs. Relationships are really complicated if you really look at it, especially if you get married. Been married for 16 years to a Filipina with a 9 year age gap=it's been a rollercoaster ride which looking back, I wish I wouldn't have gotten married again. When money is the focal point of someone's happiness, what could go wrong? everything because it's never ending. Hard to find the "perfect" woman that's for sure. I'm still hanging in there and getting much older.
You are lucky in away, she just walked away and your problem was solved without a lot of mess. It's much harder to walk away after being married for awhile. You get cut up pretty bad if you know what I mean.

So my story is still kind of active but winding down
I arrived in Davao July 20th I had met a lady on Christian Filipina and thought she's the 1 she's 23 turned 24 when I was here she met me at the airport with a half hug said she doesn't like to be showy in public.....then after about a week wanted to go to her parents for obligation's so i can't force her to stay so off she went so now its every week I'm going to my parents for 2 or 3 days and comes back a week later.....I was on my birthday Nov 28th she was here the 27th and left on my birthday about 2pm so for 5 months i have put up with this.....and finally she texted me asking if i really wanted her here and needed her ......and i told her well if you want to leave then its ok ill be alright so now I'm talking to another thats 30 and is completely different but kind of scared so who knows what ill do maybe be a hermit

Contact Christian Filipina and find out if she talking to other guys, they will tell you. Have you met her family? Filipinas wants to show you to her family asap. She sounds shady as hell. You should have dumped her week 1 man. There is no “the one” man, it’s a very rare thing. Just play the field, if she never has a bf before and is a virgin, maybe she has a good chance of being the one, but don’t get your hopes up, lead with your wallet, or treat her too good.

I did not watch your video yet but i will. I am commenting on your TITLE. Sam change your topics...when you got divorced and had to sell the house in Florida everything was about you and divorce then about filipina women finding another man. Your topics are discouraging. Other divorce men that want to find love in the Phillipines might have second thoughts because of your title. Sometimes your honesty has humor but now i noticed your topics are negative toward Filipina women. I would like to see positive videos about coming to Phillipines. Province women vs. City women. The food, culture, where to live, beach OR province or city. Talk about health if you are sick. What Hospital will treat Americans in the Phillipines.Also transportation.There are different types of transportation Restaurants vs. Street food. I would like to see positive videos Sam that will help other single men or divorce men 50 plus. They will be excited to travel to Phillipines and find a mate. Last, i noticed men that are there visiting or moving to Phillipines looking around are not groomed... They look horrible! Men should have pride in themselves to look good, dress nice, clean shave hair cut and smell good. If not, that beautiful filipina woman is going to look for another man. Talk about hygiene Sam its important. Men come to Phillipines and think its easy to get a woman, yes, maybe bar girls or dancers if that's your taste but if you want a nice quality woman in Phillipines you must dress nice and look presentable and speak well. Try and learn tagalog. Thats all i want to say no more negative videos " his filipina wife left him etc. Thanks 👍
Very very true😊 more often than not, sone foreigners are slobs😊. Do t practice good hygiene. Seems they are used to it in their cold country. We Filipinos are so particular with cleanliness in the house and good hygiene . Another thing that I notice is that the western culture esp. In family relationship is a far from the Filipinos culture. Some parents have nothing to do with their children when they reach 18 yrs old. To each his own……..so when they grow old they are just in the nursing homes waiting for their demise. with strange people caring for them while in the Filipino culture we lovingly take care of our parents and elderly in their golden years even if they don’t have much money.
I always love your honesty, Recon. You’ve followed me for a while and I appreciate it. I hope others read this comment who feel the same as you do. That said I use to make a lot of positive videos and for some reasons it was not getting alot of views…for the first year….remember I had over 250 videos on my original channel…and I would say 60% were of positive in nature…the things you are talking about…it wasn’t until I started uploading what you called negative videos, which I call informative videos..that’s when my viewership shot up which in turn more subs…so what I’ve done now is take a negative topic and try to share it in a positive way if that makes sense…many times the title is harsher than the content itself…but I hope once people follow me as you have done.. you know I am a very positive person and I always look at a glass half full verses half empty…thank so much for finding me again…it’s been a rough 2weeks when someone somehow deleted my channel..I will not place blame I will just move forward and look at the positive things my channel have done for those who are coming to the Philippines…you have a prosperous new year my friend…

Disagree. I appreciate honest information & lived experience from someone like Sam who is relatable for me. The topics you suggest are already very well covered by other bloggers. If they are what interests you then by all means start your own channel but let Sam speak

“That’s the way it should be”. Not really. On a cultural value scale, on one end parents can put everything into the future, or children can put everything into the past. But by “investing” in the past no one becomes richer and the cycle continues. I’m not saying you shouldn’t care for your parents, but I am saying the generation that didn’t have a say on being here should get priority over people who’ve already lived long enough to see their grandchildren.
I was talking about our differences to someone. Here a daughter will skip her rent to make sure her dad’s truck is fixed. And sometimes daughters have such pressure that they find ways to make lots of quick money, and the parents happily accept it. In the U.S. most dads would not be cool with their daughters earning quick money so he can have something paid.
