To the person who gave the 'thumbs down' .. I understand that this is a recorded Audio presentation of Cai singing "The Ash Grove", and perhaps you wanted a 'Live Video'.. yes, it may have been disappointing for you, but Cai's vocal presentation was beautiful and sung from the heart. He certainly did not deserve a thumbs down. I think you may need to look at yourself, and ask yourself why you would decide to hurt someone rather than just remain silent. If you did not enjoy the presentation you only needed to click to something else.

I agree, whilst viewing Cai perform, whom sings with such natural ease and understanding of the score before him, the musicians that accompany, with at times the choral singers in the video recordings, I would in the case of this recording, be curious as to what led to the thumbs down?

I agree, its difficult for kids to put themselves out there. Its definitely hurtful to get a thumbs down and you don't know why. Great work @Cai Thomas I can't wait to hear your new voice when you're back recording again :)

I agree, Cai has retained purity in his voice, that accords the pronunciation as he magically navigates the higher and lower notes throughout the score.

Lovely - except musical accompaniment is too intrusive against Cai's voice. Irritating. Cai should do a version with just singing voice and no orchestra - although it maybe too late now. Just seen an interviewing clip about his singing for a TV murder series. Was taken aback somewhat when Cai spoke unexpectedly with a deeper 'broken voice'.
