Wait, where are my Solawave lovers? I bought mine 2 years ago and am obsessed. It's so easy to use.

I've been using solawave wands for about 3 years now. started with their original model - I loved the idea when I first saw it on my feed. I didn't really see results until the 2nd week, but I kept using it because it feels soooo nice on the skin. I agree with the other commenter, it needs a case. So I was happy to see they came out with a new version with stronger light output, galvanic current (whcih my esty stands by) and finally....a case! oh and a button too. the original model was touch sensored and kinda spivved out on me a few times.
I have recommended this product to at least a dozen friends and so far the reception is generally very positive. Obviously it doesn't replace my panel, but I get so much use out of this wand because of how portable it is. And the main reason it stands out to me then and now is that it combines those other skincare technologies - so you're really getting the power of 2-3 devices which comes with their own benefits. Thanks for sharing.

Reviews on the wand are very mixed. Think I’ll stick with my panels.

I bought a Solawave, and enjoyed the convenience of use, but it caused me to break out with blisters on my face. And I wasn’t over using it. I have red light masks and use 12 Joovv red light panels at a med spa regularly and they never cause a problem with my skin. Wonder if it was galvanized current? Solawave refunded me after I returned it. My opinion it feels flimsy and could be easily broken and doesn’t come with a decent case. I think save your money for something more effective.

Yeah I will have to look into this.
MitoRed Light and PlatinumLED both do.

I have a gen 2 wand, and I love the way it feels on my skin, but I am not sure if it actually does anything. I'm curious if the red light is effective considering you're asked to put a product on before hand to enhance the "glide" of the product, otherwise it drags the skin. Aren't products likely to reflect the red light? Wondering if that is counterproductive? Interested to see your review of the product in the future.

      @LightTherapyInsiders  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

Yeah I'll try cover these questions and more in my review. If the device is against the skin the light is less likely to be lost - but it's still a possibility.

It probably isn't doing anything because it's too small and the lights are not strong enough. Just read a few medical research papers on red light therapy (also called LLLT and photobiomodulation) and you'll see what I mean.

The solawave wand is a terrible product and, Alex, you know that! You know the research and what dosage of light is needed (time / skin coverage / strength of bulbs) to produce results -- and that little wand would take over an hour of use to produce a meaningful result! I mean, I get they probably paid you a lot of money, but doing this video made you lose a lot of credibility. I hope you choose your partnerships more wisely in the future.

Hey, so firstly I always appreciate feedback - so thank you.
Now, I do need to address some points you made.
I was in Dubai with my team - attending a marketing conference. When there, Bakhrom (my video editor) heard an presentation introduction that mentioned red light therapy. He messaged me so I went to the main stage to listen in. The talk was on Facebook ads - not relevant to me, but I thought gosh, I'm in Dubai at a marketing event and there is a red light therapy dude here!! So I waited at the stage exit for 1 hour waiting to meet Andrew. I was just about to leave when he walked out.
I introduced myself, said i'm in the RLT space and wanted to say hi. We spoke for a few mins and then I said - look I know nothing about your product or company, would you be keen to do an interview for channel. Andrew was keen, so I got my team and cameras and we travelled out to his hotel to film the interview.
On the drive there I prepped some interview questions and as you can hopefully see in the video - I knew next to nothing about Solawave or the wand. On camera was the first time I even saw the wand.
After the interview I was given a wand to test (review will be out soon) and then I was invited to join their affiliate program (which is what I do with all RLT companies).
This is a revenue share deal (again - which is what I always do - I never do upfront deals), so if someone buys through my link - I get a split.
Anyway - that is the context here. I wasn't paid to do this interview (In fact I spent a lot on staff wages, taxi's etc producing the content!) and wasn't given any cash to publish it. I haven't made a cent from Solawave since this video was up. I will do a full review and in that - as always - i will share my honest thoughts.
Happy to answer any extra questions :)

Puzzled why Alex chose to promote this? The wand guy appears like a good guy just trying to earn a living creating, marketing and coming up with an appealing wand i guess. Medically it's pretty useless as it's tiny! I'm sure alex knows this, hence why I'm puzzled it's on his chanel. For anybody who knows about red light therapy, unfortunately this device is pretty useless compared to say a panel 🤷‍♂️

Hey! Yeah so I was at a business conference in Dubai and I bumped into Andrew. It was rather crazy - two Red Light guys at an event that had nothing to do with health or red light. Anyway so we got chatting and I said hey - I know nothing about your company or product, let's record this conversation.
As I said in the interview - it was my first time ever seeing the Solawave wand. I thought the conversation would be really beneficial for someone new to Solawave.
Also - Solawave is exploding in the beauty space. In fact the biggest search term in the red light therapy space is for Solawave. I was getting a lot of questions from people about the company/product so when I bumped into Andrew I thought wow! How good!
I will be doing a review of the wand soon, there I will do my usual testing and share my thoughts on the product.

I understand how it came about now. Red light therapy in general is exploding right now! No problem with people trying to cash in on it...however there is zero chance an intelligent man like him who's struggled with acne puts that wand on his face every day! Firstly you should never put a device like that on your skin if you have issues such as acne, eczema, rosacea because it will only serve as an irritant, same with the face marks. Even if his claims regarding the power irradiance is true ( if you tested it I'm sure it would be about half the power claimed ) regardless its just to small to be effective! Sorry for the rant. I'm just sick of all the marketing bs for this potentially helpful therapy for those who really need the benefits. Its daylight robbery with some of these devices coming out and there farcical claims. Your reviews are always honest so I'll look forward to the next video 👍

Could you please explore/review other travel-friendly options for red light? I love that this is portable since I travel a lot for work, but I have heard mixed reviews
    Thank you 🩷✨
