I have a couple of Pioneer SX-990's. They have capacitors on the outputs. The capped outputs sound noticeably different than non-capacitor output Pioneer receivers of the SX-"X"50 series.

But it seems it will most definitely change. The mailing lists, meetings, and OS forums have a lot about it. It very strongly indicates slowroll will be what replaces leap.
@@LowTechLinux yeah they did not get that correctly. I guess messaging regarding poll from Richard did support this way of thining. It's defintiely alternative, but not a replacement.
Snowroll is still not matured yet and if a bug needs patching, it will take some time to roll the fixes while Tumbleweed will gain the patch at a speedy pace. But I'd still say it will be a better option over Leap which lives on outdated software compromises tons of bug fixes and rare cases compromises security IMO
Snowroll 😂. Albeit it was one of the vote options. I think slowroll will be a great option for those that want something in between bleeding edge rolling and stale old packages in point releases.
I like the concept around SR so I'm testing out in VM, it alredy seems fine. I'm looking for a safe place to roam in until next plasma 6 will turn up bullet proof (In the hope DEVS avoid pushing plasma 6 for a little while)

Just came across this video on your channel. Very informative. Like it a lot. Will try out Slowroll soon!
Thank you for all the information

slowroll is not a Leap replacement. Not sure where the message came from. Slowroll is an alternative effort of Bernhard, period. Hope it helps.

not concidentally is mark as experimental. As I have understood security patch and bug fixes are prioritary, corrections wiil be quicky rolled out

Plasma devs said they don't want to release it until it's ready. Pretty sure they don't want KDE 4 mistakes again.
@@LowTechLinuxoh dude That's exactly what I was thinking at 😅
Yeah, I'm sure they will get it fixed.
Having Slow Roll is bit strange because Tumble weed is not bleeding edge like arch.
WHERE do you find an Open Suse desktop ISO to TRY on an THUMB DRIVE?

@@LowTechLinux Thanks a lot for your insight.
Is there a similar version for Leap?
I'm having a hard time finding a live image for leap. I'm not currently sure they have one
@@LowTechLinux I did find a whole bunch of them, but I don't know the sites name of hand right now
In the middle of changing 15.6 to slowroll and it's a painful process.
I have moved from an old tumbleweed to slowroll, wasn't too bad, but haven't done the leap to slowroll yet.
@@LowTechLinux installed via the Slowroll iso, didn't activate online repository, but it wouldn't boot. 😓
Going to just leave it at 15.6 and see what they do with it in the future. It's 1 of 5 laptops and the others all run Tumbleweed.
Thank you for showing us slow row
