Here’s how lost our GSs have become: certain ones are watching these two vain little guys right now and seeing a positive future, instead of seeing the very reason why the American church is not growing and is losing generations of people. Sad
I'm so thankful that Jared is not the decider of what is Orthodox in the church of the Nazarene. Straw men arguments are his stock and trade. We came to change our stance on divorce which very much has to do with sexuality. Kind of bigger than circuses. I'm also thankful that the seminary isn't accountable to his witch hunts. Why not call it the heterosexuality partnership instead of the holiness partnership. Heterosexuality is clearly the focus of the partnership over and above Holiness. If promoting the beliefs of the church of the Nazarene is the focus of the tHp why isn't it a Nazarene group? It's non-denominational. If that's really the focus, shouldn't you organize within the church itself? You aren't about splintering 😂 you just want to kick everyone out that doesn't agree with you. "Human sexuality defined by scripture" Like Abraham getting his wife's maid pregnant? Jacob's two wives? Multiple wives of David or Solomon. Let's set up accountability and church discipline for people who attack our educational institutions! Call them to repent. Jared feels that 99 percent agree with him because he pastors in Kentucky and then Indiana. He frankly doesn't seem to have a clue about other regions in the church. He just caves to the extremely conservative cultures on which he lives 😂 The only metric that tHp cares about is ones stance on sexuality. Look no further than their resources on their website. I close my thoughts with where I started I'm glad Jared isn't the decider of what's Orthodox in our church.
Either ignoring or being ignorant of a difference between descriptive and prescriptive aspects of Scripture seems a bit sophomoric - particularly for one who is complaining about someone trading in "straw men."
The claim that his phone “blew up” with positive comments rather than negative is not accurate. There was significant blow back from those who are pastors in the COTN , and who attended NTS. That blog he mentions was incorrectly stated. There was a clear and precise response from the President @JeronRowell . This is a fallacy by saying “folks” when there was one person- and that person was let go when he affirmed his stance. This is a sad commentary on the conservative, fundamental movement within the COTN, WHICH IS NOT WHO WE ARE!
To me, having people in the Nazarene church say they want to stay to scripture, and yet teach entire sanctification and promote women as head elders and pastors of the church seems interesting. We have such clear direction on biblical sexuality, eldership, pastoral roles, and so called Christian perfection (entire sanctification) and the COtN goes against them. Now I agree with a lot of what he’s saying but again. It’s tough for me to take it all with that. With that said I pray for the spirits direction in your endeavor.
Your categories are arbitrary. How can you say that one category matters and the other doesn’t? Also, you don’t even endorse tue current Manual statement it seems. And Greathouse would totally reject your brand of Fundamentalism.

Good interview
Is there a plan to save the university’s ?
There is no need to “save the universities”!!

Dude- if real church discipline did exist in the CotN, you’d be in trouble awhile ago. As would some of your mentors.
Your categories are arbitrary. How can you say that one category matters and the other doesn’t? Also, you don’t even endorse tue current Manual statement it seems. And Greathouse would totally reject your brand of Fundamentalism.
🤣😂🤣
Amen! Greathouse (my cousin) would absolutely deny his perspective on what is going on in the COTN , and response to the present culture!
