All About Insulation: Melting Ice - Educator Moment

Ever wonder why ice coolers or your water bottles keep your ice from melting? Children's Museum Houston science educator, Jason Hammond, shows us how insulation can help keep heat in or out of your home by conducting an experiment on two blocks of ice. Which will melt faster? Try it yourself and share your findings on social media!
You'll need: a recycled box, aluminum foil, felt sheets, recycled packaging materials (i.e. packing peanuts, bubble wrap) cotton balls and two blocks of ice.
