I know this is an old video but I had to point out the “amazingness” of this guy swinging around 2 x 8 x 16’s solo like their tree twigs! God Bless!! You sir are a beast! And the observatory is quite impressive as well!
Great job, I would used some kind of Tar paper to wrap the poles so the water does not rot them out. Dirt to Pole will rot... Nice can't wait to see your photos of what you see in the night skies
Thanks for the comment Doug. The treated posts will probably last a lot longer than I will so there is a point where spending more money is not necessary for me. Thanks for watching.
Hmmmm....I am likely getting one of these and putting it on a deck like you did .... did you in some way attach the sky dome to the deck? If so how....good educational video....
I cleaned out the holes real well then set the pucks down in. The post just sits on the puck. It can't go anywhere once you backfill the hole with dirt.
Nice project and you finished up with an appropriate pun. Keep these videos coming. They are enjoyable and informative.
Thank you Dennis

Hi, great project - thanks for update. were posts fastened to the pucks (if so, how)?...or just setting free on top?
