one point: Uncontrollable means neither human or AI can control said unit.... can be used ie have planes stationed at airfield and when triggered via Start trigger they will be manned and do task set for them =)
I know you've probably figured this out by now but Artillery never fires in column of route, one behind the other. They are generally staggered in line a breast and will do a converge shoot which brings all of their rounds into a single target area. That was a really large area unless your trying to pepper an entire grid square. Leopards and Challenger are good guys. German/Canadian etc. and UK. Anything with a T is generally bad guys as a rule. Good intro though. I'm sure the AI is smarter now with a few updates.
Would the rest of a group follow a player driven lead vehicle? I'm thinking back to the escort mission with helicopters and that maybe the convoy would be less suicidal if they followed a human player.
Major Fail Cap. Condition % ist probability that the unit Spawns. 50% is a 50/50 chance that the unit do not Spawn. It's a Mission randomization thing!!!!!
The percentage @2:10 is not health, it is the chance they will spawn at mission start. Easy way to make things random for Re-playability
At 18:36,wouldn't they be more accurate,if you'd put the point exactly over the targets?
This tutorial most accurately captures my own nascent experience and sentiment working with DCS mission editor 🙂.
As you said, you'd have to test the scenario thoroughly before using it.
