Great video again. Sorry to tell you though that the windmill isn’t in Cornwall. One of my few videos from outside the duchy. Pointless information….I lost my first drone filming this, getting it stuck high up in a tree!!

Just stumbled upon this channel by chance, and its really good! When I mention a Kernow as an identity I mostly get mocked for it - which is a shame as I see Kernow as on equal footing with Breizh, Cymru, Alba, Mannin and Eire. Your videos are amazing and I can't wait to see more 😊
I have been experiencing this for a while also, but now I know some of the language and I speak it when people mock me this seems to be enough to convince them that Kernow is its own place, and was here waaaay before the Frisians, the Jutes and the Saxons came, long enough to establish a very healthy trade economy with many other people's including Celtic brother, sisters and cousins. Also in 2014 we gained ethnicity status so we're not far from some form of independence but I'm not really looking for that myself, more recognition, give us back our identity, a lot of us have a long family line that spreads from Cornwall all over north western Europe and Central Europe and still indulge in the old ways that England doesn't represent. This channel is great but there's a lot of work to do to recover the real history of cornwall and teach it to the world ☺️.

Having walked around Bodmin moor and collford lake I have acquired a very good Collection of flint tools to Thant period they were very present ps none of the above tools were taken around Dozmary pool
Ahaha you're not alone. We do have two or three windmills in Kernow (so almost none!) and because I knew of those, and the footage was from a Cornish drone channel, I made the *incorrect* assumption it was one of them! It's been quite impressive how many people picked up on it though 😂
Further to my comment I would have thought they came up the east Looe and west Looe rivers and valleys which would take you to Liskeard and Dobwalls which would take on to st neot which all would take you on to the moor ✝️✝️🇬🇧

And honestly, I'm aware that there are technically a couple windmills in Kernow, though they're perhaps not as impressive or in as good condition as some others in the UK, so it didn't cross my mind that this one might not be in Kernow either.😆 If you're interested, one windmill is actually from a site discussed in this video - Windmill Farm in the Lizard. Another is around St. Minver somewhere I'm pretty sure. Both are small things and no longer have their sails/blades attached either, sadly. Maybe one day they'll be restored as with the one in this video! 😌

It's possible I suppose but very unlikely! Being completely honest we still don't know quite what they are or what they're depicting. Although associated with Ireland you do find some examples elsewhere such as Wales. However the main issue is it's an early medieval alphabet and occurs many many thousands of years after these inscriptions were made. To my mind whilst they may have meaning (and equally, may just be the Mesolithic equivalent of scribbles), it seems unlikely it would be a form of written language. That said they are similar to an Ogham so I can see how you made the connection! Meur Ras, thanks for watching 😌
