Great in-depth video, I’ve got a new 2021 Tuono v41100 factory here in 🇬🇧 I’ve had a unit on order for three months now .I was told the unit had to be dealer fitted due to coding , as you have shown that seems to be rubbish.can’t wait for your v4 install I’ve subscribed because it looks like your channel will be full of the information I need ,great job as I say 🏍🎉👍👍👍

The dealer does not have to install but it is likely that the accessory will need a firmware update before it can work properly. Not always the case though, and hopefully you're getting a "later version" that's been updated. ;)
Thanks for the video. For those with 2021 - RSV4, the installation is on the left side instead of right. It will also be difficult to use the clip. I had to remove it and zip tie it instead.
It is plug & play...for the most part. There is a firmware update for the MIA accessory itself. To be safe, this should be done before you install it. We can do it before shipping to you or have your local dealer do it for you. And thank you!

Thanks! On it. It should work if you install it yourself after we update the device firmware. But with software stuff, it's always best to bring it in just in case.

Thank you for your reply. Dealer wants to charge $175 to flash/enable ECU. So wanted to check if it was plug & play. If you have any plug and play ones, I will buy it and install it myself.

This I probaly a dumb question but why would you need bluetooth. I just installed a USb from aprilia to charge my phone. I also have a cardo attached to my helmet.

For the upcoming video on features. I’ve been having an issue with getting the GPS to work with the aprilia app. It was accessed by holding down the right arrow but no longer works. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
you might need to "update" the software with the Aprilia diagnostic tool... but, this is just a guess.... as "might" implies... another possibility is the phone that you have may not be totally compatible...
I just picked up a 2023 Aprilia RS660, I had the dealer install the MIA multimedia system. I’m having issues trying to pair my phone. When I scroll through the menu on the bike, I do not have a real screen that says MIA. When I try to connect my phone, the BT Router does not show up in my list of Bluetooth devices. Am I doing something wrong? Or did the dealer not update the bike? Any help is appreciated as there is not much on this topic with people having issues
I looked through your videos and don’t see one on features. Have you made it yet? I would like to know the point of having it when your phone is mounted to the bike and you have a Cardo or something. Is it worth still getting or a waste of money at that point? Thanks 😊
I have to re-shoot that video, my GoPro SD card failed when I was shot it. If you have a nice phone mount and cardo, you may not need this Bluetooth. But this Bluetooth makes it much easier and safer to control your phone from the bike's controls.
If your bike is under guarantee check with your mechanic(if he is official). Electric components not vetted and run by Aprilia first could void your warranty.
@@Victor_Moto they can cite "unlicensed installation" for anything not installed by the shop. It was just a friendly word of warning from my mechanic. You will probably be OK with OEM units like this. 3rd party ones I would be a little bit of careful. Edit: I do own a Tuono 660 and this was directly about this line of MC's.
Can you share some details on what kind of screws it uses? I couldn't find the install kit on the website. There was also no option to have you update the firmware.
We are revising the firmware update option. The price of the screw "kit" is kind of ridiculous so I'll pit the scre sizes in the description next week.

Lol yeah it's $15 dollars and EFF aprilia for not including them. I didn't pay for them either. I think you should just order the Bluetooth device and then take it to the hardware store and buy some that thread in. Looks like the screw is roughly 8mm long.
It works as it should but the voice guidance/pictograms on the GPS are useless. The voice sounds terrible and the pictograms are way off. Aprilia needs to do a better job/improve the software.

Saw your email. Some might need an update, if they are older bluetooth units. They've been arriving plug and play for us for a while now.

Does this work with Phones Gps,and other apple apps? are you able to display maps on the Tft? that would be sweet as well as spotify and texts.
You can see music, caller ID and GPS on screen. But not your phone's apps.
