- Here's an in-depth RS660 Dashboard Tutorial & Changing Maps, PLUS the official dashboard manual.
It's pretty amazing how much the RS 660 (and Tuono 660) offers in electronic Rider Aids! Miles ahead of the competition.
BUT, this dash is TOTALLY different from the 2020 and prior model-year Aprilias, took me a while to learn the system.
There are 2 major Rider Modes and a total of 6 maps. Only two maps are customizable.

Thanks, man! This is valid also for Tuono 660 Factory. I bought mine one month and a half ago and you just answered a lot of my questions in this video. Can't wait to try some of the stuff tomorrow. Although, one thing, I tried doing a wheelie with ATC on, it just cuts the gas. I might be unexperienced, I can agree with that but this was my symptom. As soon as I disabled ATC wheelies were more responsive. Thanks again for the great video!

Good point. It's the same as getting it into Race mode except press and hold right arrow/select button one more time out of your lap timer screen.

My friend purchased a 2022 Aprilia Tuono 660. He also purchased a quick shifter and an IMU. When the parts arrived, he took his bike, with only 100 miles on it, to a local Aprilia dealer to have the parts installed. When the time came to pick up his bike, I joined my friend. Upon taking the bike back, we started asking questions about the quick shifter and the IMU. The service person could not clearly answer our questions, so we asked to speak to a technician. The dealer refused to let us speak to a technician. When asked if the IMU was installed and activated, they could not confirm. They did not even know the location of the IMU. Disappointed with the service department, my friend started riding home. As he drove away, he noticed warning lights flashing on the dash. Modes flashing on the dash. He immediately returned to the dealer and inquired what was going on. After talking to service people, managers, sales people no one could tell what was happening with the bike, so they asked my friend to leave the bike. This happened last week. The bike is still at the dealer. Are there any videos or references to the IMU installation on Tuono 660? How can I check if it was installed and activated. The service invoice did not even mention a quick shifter or the IMU. It just said "parts installed per customer's request."

Thanks! All modern motorcycles' dash lights flash like that when the key is turned on. They go off once the bike rolls a bit and the sensors calibrate.

Do it twice, again in the lap screen.
So is ATC 8 the most traction control or the least? It is better to have the most traction control in the rain correct?
8 is the most. If it's raining, use 8.

Calibration is for when you change chain & sprockets, for example. It's usually for your Service shop to use.
Thanks for the info..was nicely done and easily explained..I have a question tho; recently bought tuono 660 2021 and everytime I turn it on,the AQS is blinking light orange which,after a few kilometers starts blinking red..I dont have QuickShifter installed and have no clue why are those blinking...any clues what to do?
Does ot stay red for the entire ride?
Does it change after a few gear changes during the ride ?
@@Victor_Moto thanks for responding Victor! It's blinking orange with an arrow down and after 5 mins of ride it starts blinking red with an arrow pointing down..switched aqs to off in the settings,still the same..

Hi guys from Hungary. I have one question, because just was getting mine three days ago. So sometimes im going to track days in my country. How can use the lap timing mode ? So how have to give the start point for the bike ? Have to buy some app or bluetooth kit? Any suggestion? Thx
Push the high beam button. You have to be riding the bike.
The 35 kW indicated under the selected gear shows at 13:30 as being (Restricted power map icon). That's just throttle curve, is that correct? All modes have the same power though?

You'll need a diag computer for that and the cable specific for the 660.
New to track days, just logged my 4th last weekend on the RS660. Any suggestions on what settings/levels would be best for novice riders?

In the road mode for individual when I toggle to the right it skips the wheelie control and will not allow me to turn it off. Can someone assist me. Thank you

Sounds like you need to take it to a shop for repair.
My dealer got mine today but they don't have the new cable from Aprilia to connect PADS to ecu :(

Hold it again in the Lap Time screen. From the Race Mode, you have to do it twice since it shows laps before going to the Menu.

How can I start a new laptime?
You have to be moving at a minimum speed and use the front button on the left switch. I think it's the high beam flasher button.

Not from the dash controls.

How do you get gp shift
Flip the shifter linkage and get the ECU update for GP Shift which has to be done at a dealer.
How would you compare the seating position to a zx6r? Mainly in terms of the clip ons vs the aprilias bars
MUCH more comfortable. Taller clip ons to seat angle.

I just checked on the RS 660. In "Individual" map, you simply change WC from on to off normally. You're not able to do that?

For example: i dont have a MIA in my RS660... But on the website they wrote that this thing is part if the bike...

@@Victor_Moto Slovakia, middle Europe. Dealers sell it as includet part of RS660, but that isnt a true. Because our dealer dont know what is optional... Bikes from January-february has MIA, later no, just optional , but dealer dont know it from Aprilia IT.
