I was lucky enough to see Roger give a brief talk on his work... He spoke about a number of design principles to make a house comfortable... But didn't elaborate to say what these principles were... I'd love to know. By the way, I had Roger Dean posters on my childhood bedroom wall... Its so clear that a particular hollywood movie nicked his imagery. A great guest for Channel.
Loved all of them. I think I remember having an album in the early 70s Nitro Junction with Billy Cox on Bass, after Hendrix passed over. Used to have a "coffee table book" with Roger Dean's work. ...Amazing! I would buy albums like Babe Ruth's "First Base", just because of Dean's art.... Thank you so much for the interview!
John - you REALLY should check out Roger's old "coffee-table" book with the large illustrations, which has a TON of information about Dean and his paintings, and his career: since it dates to the early 1980s or so, it obviously doesn't cover the intervening years. But I hate to see you seem so unfamiliar with him, he's been really well known to Progressive rockers for the last half-century.

Love the art but seemed a difficult interview as he never quite synced his responses to your questions. All the best from the UK
