God forbid if I need to open my hood for some reasons, what a mistake moving to a gated community. The only thing that is mine is the inside of the house. Tip on powder coating that I stumbled upon for your DIY needs. You can in fact bake the parts with a heat lamp. Just watched a guy do it, and he even did it in sections i.e. 1/2 and 1/2 for bigger parts. Not everything fits in an oven. Hope this helps if any.

You were right about the E85. Better power and torque but less fuel economy. Also helps clean the engine because its a cooler cleaner burning fuel than regular gasoline is. I love running E85, but don't often, because the price where I live isn't much different than regular. So for me there is no savings when im going to get worse mileage.
If that Tahoe has the 4 cylinder mode,You need to go get it deleted

I live in a gated community and get fined if I even come close to my Jeep. I have to work on it at the mall. When I put my audio system in and was adjusting the gain so I could rock it the cops gave me a ticket for disorderly conduct since it was so loud. You can’t win in this world even when the directions said “take it to mall parking lot to adjust gain”😖
I'm impressed that your front headlights aren't fogging up. I had a headlight build a few years ago and had to keep taking the truck back due to it fogging up. I took it back probable five times :P

E85 takes 30% more fuel to burn the same btu as gasoline
So you’ll use 30% more mpg but it’s cleaner, 100+ octane so your not worried about pre detonating or knock so you can run more timing if your in a good tuner that adjusts that stuff
Stock vehicle prolly just gonna benefit from cleaner running and few hp maybe
Next best thing on that Tahoe is a AFM delete kit. I did one on my 07 Tahoe from comp cams and its a beast. Put a good tuner on it and you get around 15mpg and a lot more torque

So when I had f150 ford told me of went from E85 to gasoline or back to do a 50/50 tank and never fill up completely with one or the other because it can confuse the mix and throw codes on the check engine light. Did you have this happen?

Now that there is audio coming, now you need boost auto tow mirrors, and exhaust and remove to flex fuel badge just because it doesnt match the colors of the truck unless you can make it match and bullbar with a light bar and roof rack with full size spare on it
Buddy ya need to try “Cericote” ceramic coating for plastics.. its $22 on amazon , it come in individually rapped packages ya just wipe it on and let sit for 30 minutes and waa laa trim looks like new and stays that way for 200 washes mine has been on for about a year and a half and still looks like the day i put it on . And it is on my jeep which i do ride trails with ( not a concrete queen) lol . But still looks new because of the Cericote it is truly amazing stuff.. just something to try if ya want..

Silver paint you can roll any way!! Any color from maroon to chrome to blue purple black yellow! All can work with good accenting parts

Here’s a diy tip you can take a propane torch and lightly torch plastic trim and it’ll make it look brand new it’ll last a good while too
Have you thought about debadging the Tahoe? Otherwise looks good to me. I miss my Tahoe mine was black and had all the decals and badges taken off. So much cleaner

You should take the rear tailgate bowtie emblem off along with the flex fuel badge I think it would make the rear end look a lot cleaner
My 03 suburban with E85 goes from 15MPG to 11MPG so I'd expect like 10 if you are at 13

Hello Ryan, I have a lift question. I have a 2015 Ram 2500 with a Zone 6.5 lift . I have the zone shocks on it. And I’ve been driver it for about ten thousand miles now and I’m starting to get a bounce up from when on the highway. It goes away after a while. Do you know what might be causing this?

I think your audio ( your back ground music ) was over playing, while you were talking about the polishing the back of your Tahoe. Also, if your getting complaints from your neighbors about you working on your vehicle projects. Unless, your living in a HOA community. You can do whatever you want. As long as your not breaking your lease agreement. Or, destroying your neighbors property. If, your living in a HOA. I would move out. Look for a home. With a shop built on it.
