President Nelson gave a similar talk a few years ago called “The Love and Laws of God”. It’s excellent. I’m not an emotional person but this message put tears in my eyes. So amazing! The balance of love and truth is under attack like never before. Permissiveness is being cloaked under the false guise of compassion. The Overton window of what is allowed to be spoken publicly is shrinking. Some eternal truths are deemed hateful by clever deceptions calculated to subvert our spiritual eyes. This mass-manipulation feels awfully familiar. I believe satan and his angels used the false “compassion” tactic (that rejects truth) against us in the war in heaven. But like Moroni taught in Moroni 7:45, true charity “rejoiceth not in iniquity but rejoiceth in the truth”. We can and ought to love the sinner but not the sin.

A SIGN! Thought I’d share an interesting happening this week. Two nights ago I had a clear, quick but vivid dream of an elevator. Instantly felt impacted that it meant something. I actually woke up thinking what did that mean? Can I use the elevator as an analogy in my life or for my kids somehow? I thought about it for a bit and everyone once in a while during the day. Then I didn’t think about it anymore until this morning when I was on TH-cam and saw this talk! Wow. VERY impactful and a sign for the need to stand facing the right direction!

Jesus stood up in the face of evil and spoke truth, he never avoided contention, he was contention. If righteous people do not take a stand to protect America we will all lose the ability to freedom of religion and therefore the word of God may be lost to the masses, we are the keepers of the faith and we have the responsibility to preserve it. Pacifism is not the doctrine of Jesus, all you need do to understand is look at his actions. We have to follow the promptings of the spirit to know the answer to that question. Sometimes Jesus confounded the pharisees, sometimes he remained quiet. Same thing with nephi, he tried to teach his brothers the truth and eventually they just needed to be separated. Good question.

For a reason, the church leaders are playing into the pressures of the social politics of our day, unlike our leaders of the past, they are not taking a firm stand and this is causing many of our young people, and adults, to be confused, with guard lowered under the misrepresentation of "compassion", under these teachings. I have personally witnessed the fall of many of our youth over these past few years, steming from these kind of talks from our leaders. I have lived in and with the natives and latinos of both Central & South America for 21 years pf my life. My closest friends are amongst these people, but the racism is strong in their culture, against Americans in general, but edpecially with white caucasion Americans. My wife was born and raised in Nicaragua and can attest to these same unclear teachings, that this was the very root that caused her country to now live under a dictator. Christ always stood strong in truth and principal, this is why they killed him. I encourage all to not be blindly lead, but to follow Brigham Youngs admonition, to seek the council of our leaders, walk always with the Holy Ghost, and seek truth in all things, as declared in D&C 88:77-80, for Section 130:18-21. Is clear of this need to gain understanding and live it under the law and glory, it sustains and the advantage one will have in the life to come. Out of respect for you and your belief, I feel this one described by you is the same God described by our New Age Humanists. Is there a difference? Their God stands as the creator of the universe without a body and is above all things, and yet is distant. We believe in a God that is personal. He is above all things, but will personally answer your prayers because he is your literal spiritual father. This God is one with a perfect body and spirit. He is a God of order and commandment. He loves his children very much and not only gave us agency to choose Heaven, but also gave us the gift of consequence. His adversary, Satan/the Devil, wanted all creatures to return to heaven without choice or consequence, wanting to take the glory for himself. He works against all things good and eternal, and obviously against God. Our God is all seeing, all knowing, and all powerful. Yet he is merciful to those who repent and will choose to follow him. There is hell and there is heaven, and to varying degrees according to the amount of light/truth we can handle and desire. I have listened to talks like this for 50 years. All they have done for me is cause me to be too scared to live.
Remain quiet? Elder Holland just said that our PROBLEM is that we are remaining quiet when we need to defend the truth! Which is right?

I would argue that He cannot be a He without a body that has parts that make Him a He.
