It was a huge honor for me to work on this mod. EXACTLY A YEAR has passed since I joined the team on March 11th, a wonderful moment for the release. A team of not only the most talented people but also wonderful friends with whom I spent the nights in a voice call. I absolutely love the small details in this demo. Sans actually builds up his confidence and insanity. In the first song he faces away from the player, while in the next he faces them straight on. Another little detail is when papyrus said to follow his lead, BF actually sings first rather than waiting for paps to start. Not to mention this used to be dusttale mod, one of the firsts one. The glow up of this mod is absolutely insane!
Ngl I love how this developments team relationship is much more stable and encouraging. You guys actually seem like your enjoying each others company

Yo, this is something that's going as one of my favourite DustTales mods out there! Literally the music slaps perfectly and brings a lot of attention to my ears with the chromatics. Not to forget the amazing Voice Acting of the characters, top props to you all! Hopefully this one will be completed, and if it's leaked, don't give up on it. Complete it. This is a masterpiece i love.

As a average dusttale fan, holy crap the nostalgia hits hard. I remember watching Merg play the fan game and just being amazing on how big it was, despite being very rough. Glad it’s stilll being appreciated to this day!

Because there are other fangames that have already exceeded the level of quality that those 2 had, and there are even original takes on BOTH of those fangames as full games that are way higher quality than the originals. (e.g. the other Horrortale fangame that uses psychological horror elements instead of being a survival simulator and the recently new DustTale battle fangame)

you can already see the amount of effort that you and the team put into this, even if its a demo its still amazing, the songs, sprites and cutscenes are awesome and i cant wait for the full release
I can't believe I missed the premiere of the demo, but man the whole team really outdid themselves! From all the animations, poses into cutscenes, to little details like Papyrus using the dating manual (I believe), to all the designs (loved pixel dust btw), to the sick meter appearing after hitting notes, to the mechanics, to the dustswap song using Canon!Underswap motifs to the fact that the full thing has 20+ songs! That's just insane! Can't wait for the full release, but take your time everyone, cause this is gonna be a hit!
I could go on and on, but I'll leave it at this, the demo certainly has me excited for the full release!

ok real talk i didnt even fathom that a tiny bit under a year ago i would be able to be on a mod like this, especially one that has this much care and thought put into it, PLUS the amount of skilled people working on it. It's literally the mod that keeps making want to improve my music and making less than the best i can for this mod is the last thing i want to do. Also plus i love this team so much lmao.

11:52 what’s impressive that the section where everything becomes normal but then suddenly everyone in Muffet’s slowly gets dusted and swap Papyrus has the look of his dustswap self and it switches back to what’s left of Muffet’s
2:04 The way Sans looks like he's about the have a nervous breakdown, before he suddenly flashes his eye with a smug, challenging look is so cool. Especially how the world fills with color again and the battle truly begins!

After listening to this part many times I know why I like it so much
It reeks of anxiety, tension, and most of all, insanity.
You can feel Sans’ fear for him and his world, knowing that this is his one shot to finally save the people he loves. And as we know from the regular dusttale AU, Sans starts to go much more mad after killing his brother.
That part really sticks in that turning point of desperation and insanity that creeps into Sans’ head after his murder is complete. He doesn’t want to do it, but he has to. It’s the human’s fault, after all…

The firsts of the characters are incredible, and also of dust and boyfriend, the work behind the mods made with love and laberdad is incredible, the progress that insists is incredible
Man, while I was surprised by the lack of mechanics I generally think that's a good thing. You're clearly going for a cinematic experience with this and I'm completely down.
Also I love the effort in a demo, seriously take your time, take near the end of the year if need to be.
(Besides if it WAS filled with mechanics like V2 half of the fanbase won't beat the mod)

I'M SO HYPED FOR THIS!!! I'd also like to add that I absolutely love how natural Underswap Sans feels! His design feels a lot more organic, and I'm glad it didn't go for the usual "smol cinnamonroll" route as fanworks usually would. Awesome stuff, can't wait for the release!
Man I remember when the first version of the mod came out it was a lil janky but it was fun then remastered came and polished everything out made new songs and everything and sure the difficulty spike was there but it was still fun as hell then we have this beautiful mod here which completely blows any version of this mod out of the water I remember when I heard the first teaser for homicide I was so excited for the full thing NOW I GET TO HEAR it thank you Friday Night Dustin Team for putting so much effort and work into the best undertale mod possibly ever even if it’s just a demo :)
one of the interesting details for homie-cide that just caught me is the fact that in the flashback, papyrus seems to kill the monsters in random order everytime we play the song, meaning that the events of homie-cide may already happened bunch of times depending on how much we play the song. or atleast that's what i seem to understand for now idk if this detail is nessessary but good job for the team
God this is so well done, hats off to you and everyone on the dev team of this mod, truely spectacular work. The voice acting, the sprites, music, everything, phenomenal. Can't wait for more updates!

I noticed a couple weird things and one bug: the bone in preserverance is weird with donwscroll, since you can use the sprite getting cut off. The bug is: When i use downscroll for some reason sans' voiceline after killing papyrus is nonexistent, the subtitles are there although. Great Demo, im insanely hyped for the full release!

The chart goes a bit wonky at time but I gotta say. This is very good. Amazing work from the team.
I haven't seen a mod that stands out in everything for a while. The music is very well done and I like all three so much that I couldn't say which one I like the most. the art is very good, the sprites are fun to watch. the camera movements mean that there are no boring parts in the songs. nice backgrounds, good chatting and captures the undertale vibes very well. I like it a lot and I see a lot of potential.
btw I suppose that in the team there are already experienced people in mods, if so it shows and if not wow.

the first song sounds like an undertale version of manual blast the second song is very different but also has a sort of calm after the first song in the first half but then changes to sans at that point making it better that ending the story mode which I hope we get to see Chara in it like the first mod and the freeplay song being a swaptale version of dust tale and having megalo strike back influences is very interesting and I wonder if we might get a dustshift song in the freeplay overall for a demo this is amazing on par with the sonic exe demo in terms of quality and if its anything like sonic exe it will be even better so I'm hyped to see what's in version 1

In the past week, I have had 2 separate dreams about Friday Night Dustin'.
The first one was where Friday Night Dustin' was never made to be an FNF mod for entertainment, but actually as a weapon in a war to kill "The Gods." There was absolutely no context on who The Gods were, but they were supposedly weak against DustTale FNF mods. Wassabi, who was in the dream as well, revealed this information after the mod released and used the full build to take down The Gods.
The second dream takes place after FND's demo released, in which Wassabi mentions directing 3 other mods, all in relation to DustTale, which included a Friday Night Dustin' prequel mod and a spinoff where you play as DustSans.
I don't know why Wassabi was in *both* of these dreams, or why I had 2 of these dreams within 1 week, but I just wanted to get this out because it was on my mind for too long.
