This Match up is the hardest match up in the entire game for me as China, I play all civilisation on conq2-3 level and this match up is clearly the hardest in the game to my eyes, seeing Divine the god of booming and macro civs getting destroyed shows how strong the Malian Cow Boom is and the fact that to simply just try to match it you have to pay 1 dynasty, 2 tcs and countless vills is a testament to the steep difference in difficulty. I hope to break it one day and perefectly master it.
I build big cow landmark asap every game in 4v4 to fuel my warrior scout production. Buffed with farming buffs a few patch ago. Then i build 5TC's just for safe farms For the ultimate goal of 50warrior scouts per 1min production to swarm the world, without the need for wood or gold in the endgame.
Would love an ottoman fast imperial guide/build breakdown, theres a lack of ottoman guides out there and many are quite outdated or based around feudal/castle
@@johanlassen6448 I suppose the difference you could Argue is that the Malians in their "Imperial Era" somewhere in the 1600s were trying to buy guns from europeans to modernize their army (And mostly failing) while the Chinese were doing a massive isolationism and importing as little as possible from europe, this despite the protuguese in Macau doing their best to sell gun and cannon.
@@zitowolfram7618 Maybe, but then again the English certainly had culverins and don't get them in the game. Obscure references to the Malians somewhere in the 1600s maybe at some point possibly having imported guns does not suffice to give them culverins TBH.
That's why i don't like to play china, for them to rise you have to push through immense aggression of your opponent, makes me uneasy just thinking about that haha

What’s the rationale for having some civs with access to the culverin and some without?
Historical things i guess, but maybe just because some civs would just be op with the culverine like for example china and the mongols.
