Older mowers have less of the electronic crap on them, so they will start just by looking at it. You can get a mulch blade for it and install it for ever. Raining here and I came off of a night shift. So nothing got done today. Tomorrow I will cut the grass but leave the clover for the ground hogs to eat. I have six babies. If anyone knows how I can claim them on my income tax please let me know. Take care everyone and play safe. From the other end of the valley.

Unfortunately, most Canadians can't claim their pets as dependants on their income tax return. Having said that, you might be able to claim the cost of owning an animal if you: have a specially trained service animal.
      Have a great rainy day. : 😊

I thought, "There's no way that's gonna' start"! Wrong. Then I thought, "Ross is too big for that pool"! Then I wondered "Well what kind of engine is it"? Answered. But what I mostly thought was "Where the hell can I get me that shirt"?!?! Good stuff as always, Ross. 👍😎

Haha 😆 thanks Chris. I got the shirt as a gift, so not sure where it was picked up from :) glad I could help all the other lingering questions.

Nicely done! I’m thinking that mower is just considered disposable. Don’t bother changing the oil. It will last long enough 🤣

      Ha! That's probably very accurate.

I’m amazed it started. Good stuff! Never needing to change the oil sure does seem a bit sketchy! Have a good weekend!

Same! I thought it was a goner. And I agree regarding the oil. Jeez 😩 have an awesome weekend.

I service a lot of lawn mowers, especially walk behind units and I figured as long as there's no water in the float bowl and the needle wasn't stuck, it would fire off. 5 year old fuel won't have the octane as new stuff has , but it will still burn. I just serviced my Father in laws 35 year old 3.5HP Tecumseh 20" walk behind that he hadn't used for about 5 years as well. I cleaned the carb and now it starts on one pull. I love the Classics...lol. Great video as always and your yard is looking great. Cheers from Sask.

I totally agree regarding the older stuff. Well done on your old mower. I do appreciate how simple they are,. Have a great day, and week ahead.

I believe Ballard makes a chute blocker that you can open and close at will while mowing

Kinda figured it would start. And they say gasoline is no good after 30 days 🤔🤭🤭
Good one Ross. Yardworks products are good, I find. The one I have any way.

Ya I don't usually have that good of luck, but I attribute it to proper gas.
