How much time are u allowed during the stops to sightsee? Are u allowed to break journey to stay overnight at stops and then carry on the journey on the next train?
+nothing As long as I know not. The train passes all way from Moscow to Vladivostok in one week and stops in large cities. The stops don't last longer than an hour. Unless they have introduced a different train for tourists only.
By the low you can stop you trip for 10 days max. by any reason - it's not important why. You are to show station master your ticket not later than in 4 hours from the leaving the train. Station master makes stamp on your ticket. Not later than in 10 days you may continue your trip after punching the ticket and making a surcharge for reserved seat.
That's what I was wondering. I assumed you could get off, explore than get on another trans-Siberian railway traveling in the same direction and continue the journey. Than again, we're talking about countries that have some of the strictest travel restrictions in the world. But I see no point in just riding it to ride it.
Love to Ulan Ude for being cool and unique! Love from the UK!

Why doesn’t this show you Vladivostok?
Who is the narrator?
Sounds like Stuart Hall but I don't know.
Pronunciation?
It's called a Railway, like the entire planet calls them except the USA.....
entire planet calls it whatever it is in their native language....
