Looks good! That was the first thing I did when I bought mine. I want to put a "tattoo" basically a decal, on my jeep. Like a sleeve. I'm thinking one of the pillars.
Took mine the side stickers and Rubicon off the hood tonight. Peeling the stickers off was the easy part. Took quite a bit of time to get all of the adhesive off. The Goo Gone works good, just takes some time. Makes the Jeep look pretty sick though!
Plan on doing this in the coming weeks once the temperatures stay consistently warm enough. Here in Windsor it was beautiful this weekend, but just barely hit 15 degrees. Have a can of plasti dip already set up, as well as a can of VHT nightshade and clearcoat for the tail, marker and signal lights. I did install a cold air intake this Saturday and just ordered a new exhaust that hopefully shows up this coming week.

You forgot to mention you will need to wash and wax because goo gone removed any wax or protectant you have on your jeep as well. I am changing mine out to black decals to keep with red and black scheme
So I'm looking to buy but used Jeep Wrangler Unlimiteds with all these extra options I don't want are ridiculously expensive. I was trying to look for a stripped down basic manual transmission but they are rare. Anything used with thousands of miles on it is $27,000 , more... I figured out that for $3,000 more I can just order from the company website brand new with everything stripped and the couple options I actually need in the color I want...
well, i just got back from removing my stickers with your technique. the "willys" and "wrangler" came off fine but the "4 wheel drive" sticker they now put at the back was pain in the rear end....literally. took an hour alone on the back sticker but it FINALLY got take off LOL.
em23 I'm actually doing the same to my 2017 willy's. I'm removing the 4 wheel drive sticker. Did it just take a while for it to peel off or were their other problems
it took about 20 minutes to take out the willys sticker. i used a hair dryer just like this guy suggested. however it does take some time to warm up the plastic sticker. when it warms up, it warps and then you grab a corner. i then pointed the hair dryer at the underside of the sticker as i pulled it out and that took several minutes because its well secured to the car. this video is good at explaining how to take it out. just be aware that it will take time. the 4 wheel drive sticker was a NIGHTMARE but i did get it out after one hour of peeling.
From the movie and earlier days when they had the tv series. Cars had these symbols and they were special cause they would transform into this autobots like machines resembling human robots.
