Initially, I didn’t like this album, it was the only CoL album I didn’t enjoy. But after watching this performance, specifically at the same moment when she first sings of the Wreck of S.S. Needle, it suddenly became this incredibly special album to me, from start to finish. Strange how that happens, huh?

I think my initial failure was that I bounced off of her voice without looking into the larger themes and artistic direction of the album and seeing the energy live like this made it all make sense to me when I wasn't willing to have an open mind before.

Many years ago I heard Made out of Babies and Battle of Mice and always thought Julie Christmas' voice was interesting and unique. Within the last year I really dove into Cult of Luna and discovered her on this album, and it is fantastic. Absolutely awesome live, wish I could have been there.
Just finished watching this from beginning to end, and i am so blown away, Julie outshined her studio vocals for "Cygnus", and the band were... Phenomenal, the light show hit me nice since im rolling on 2E's. Hit me just right.
