I am a die hard fan of Mr.Vijay Sethupathi myself, but very disappointed with his hosting in Biggboss8. VJS appreciating Deepak for 'Best Captaincy'??? Really??? Go back to the week's episodes. The question here is not about 'Manjari is right or wrong'. Group of men attacking Manjari from all sides, laughing and mocking while she is trying to converse with Arun & Deepak. Arun says 'go talk to captain', Deepak says 'go talk to kitchen incharge'. Satya makes fun from behind the kitchen, Shiva barges in against her, Deepak yells on top of his voice at Manjari with the worst body language, one hand in hang loose position- 'yinna ippo, naa Deepak aa dhaan pesuren'. Post this incident, while all were sitting in living area, again the crowd attacking her, Deepak justifying both of his sides as Deepak vs Captain. Another gang laughing at the lady who is painfully fighting for her stand. Manjari managed to be bold and tried to talk back all alone. All alone!!! Not one single housemate stood by her or tried to warn the crowd. After seeing all this hooligan behaviour by a bunch of housemates, if VJS appreciates Deepak, hurting the thoughts of Manjari even more, making her believe that she was wrong, then... the only explanation to this is- 'Victim blaming' as rightly mentioned by Mr.James Vasanthan. VJS forcing Manjari to give his answer as reply "illemaa., ...ippo...., Arun thappu na??? Neega thappu dhane, Arun right na??, neenga right dhaane?!"!!! VJS is one of the finest actor in India with best acting skills. But when it comes to social emotions, his analysing and judgement skills seem to be weak. As a fan i'm unbelievably disappointed!!! And Yes, Kamal would have handled in a better way. The post of James Vasanthan is 100% correct.

VJS is there for money only and nothing else. He always put his incompetence in communication as a blame to the contestants and make them feel guilty. This is what we call as gaslighting. We need more experience person with social awareness to host the show. I hope they consider Sathyaraj, Sarathkumar and Radikaa as the host for the next season. As I watch James Vasathan review frequently, I also feel he will fit the role perfectly. But unfortunately only Big Stars will be considered for the role.
