Adam and Sarah, great to see more of your adventures opposed to your passages and down time on the boat. You both are great and very interesting as well as entertaining. If only Adam would talk more on camera :) . Keep the taking the drone shots wherever you go. It provides an amazing view point
If I could offer some advice: If you look at your video description "We arrive into Lanzarote and immediately fall in love with its distinctive and unique charm. To us, it was an example of humans planting themselves on a landscape where we just didn’t belong. What was great to see was the locals attempts to use the natural beauty in and amongst their houses and towns." You viewers would love to see what you speak of. Take us along to see the unique places you visit. Show us what you found unique and charming. Show us the locals and why you enjoyed them. Off screen narration seems to work better when talking about a particular excursion. The bike tour was a great example of taking the viewer along with you to see parts of the islands.
One channel that has the video formula down pat is SV Delos. They show their viewers the long passages, but only show brief cuts of the short passages. They know how boring passages can be, so they limit showing subscribers the boring parts. What they focus on is the adventures wherever they are and the interactions with the locals, customs, history and uniqueness of the area.
You both bring something special to your TH-cam adventure. Cheers and fair winds

Thanks mate. Great advice. We love Delos videos too. It's a hard balance and neither of us are naturally creative or photography focused so we try our best and sometimes it's okay and sometimes it's a bit average haha
      Thanks again for watching 👍

I finally got to read your bios and I was floored to learn you're a vet, Sarah, as it reminded me of Dr Sheddy and Capt Joel of SV Chuffed who've made their mission to share their veterinary know-how to assist the locals and their furry and hooved friends while they sail towards new water bourne adventures. They are currently in Panama.

Hi guys, amazing stuff ... would like to ask the reason why you hand steer when winds seems to pick up, ( I'm looking for a similar boat oceans 46) so basically. ! Does the boat round up and you must correct by hand steering it? Or is the auto pilot that is not fast to keep it? Is it the sail area that make you wanting to go fast? Cheers and safe winds ... Kia Ora !

Did you space the heat shield away from the wall for air to flow it will help.
As well your mic might use a windshield as you mic doesn't pick up well in the wind.
    Fair winds

Hi guys another question - travel insurance...? Would regular travel insurance suffice in the Mediterranean? Regular doesn’t cover offshore international waters.. I am not sure the med has international waters? Then once you head out you’ll need the ocean cover?

How much battery power did you add? How many AH? And are they 12v in parallel? My boat that I just purchased has 2 x 140ah batts (reasonable new) and I am adding another 2 of same type. (I know people say don’t add new batteries to a bank with older batts - I also read that it doesn’t make any difference - I will see I suppose) Total AH’s will be 560 - also adding 450w of solar and a 2000w inverter. I will be a live aboard family, I hope I have enough power? If not I can always add more I suppose! But curious to know what you have and your thoughts..
Cheers From Matt in Sydney - about to be Med sailing this season.
