Thanks for another fantastic interview! I like his answer to the last question. Most designers have said gaming is good because it brings people together, which is true, but I like how Vital's answer "Makes you think and make your mind work" encompasses solo game/gamers as well.
Thank you both, this was delightful! I had no idea that the divine trinity of Lacerda, O'Toole, and Eagle Gryphon "accidentally" fell into place with The Gallerist - they are all so well known now. And I am going to go look for that Discord channel :).
I bought Age of Steam and printed Vital Lacerda Portugal map and asked Vital to meet me and 2 other friends, we saw each other for the first time that night, I remember giving him an improvement for Age of Steam that he liked and wanted to add to the BGG Portugal map file as an exclusive idea for that map (not sure he did it).
I am noticing that there is a saxophone stand in the background. Soprano and alto, or soprano and tenor? Just received on mars with alien invasion. Haven't played with the expansion, but this is quickly becoming the favorite of the games of yours I have(lisboa, the gallerist and kanban ev). I am a saxophonist, and have become a hobby boardgamer in the past 6yrs. It's like band night, a dedicated space where we all gather to learn, explore and concentrate. I'm no longer playing music, but I still have a band.
