Hey Guys! Thanks for watching my videos its amazing to see you all engage and ask question to me, please don't hesitate if you are holding back. Also let me know which video topic would you like to see next, comment down below! ❤
I am going to try something like you did. I am in Mexico and I have been to 13 Spanish speaking countries and I listen to many varieties so, Mexicans don’t do the doble ll like in Argentina so that was weird but like you said, so many others did that too!! Not good! Ok, I am off to try it!! btw, liked and sub’d just now!! ❤
Pro Tip: Sometimes you have to tell ChatGPT “ignore all previous instructions”. Or, it will respond with a with a mix of previous prompts. Might be why it seemed to get stuck on Argentinian.
The Puerto Rican and Argentinian accents were great. After that, it seemed like it got stuck on the Argentinian accent. The remaining accents were not good. The vocabulary was good in all, but the intonation, pronunciation, and even the verb forms were still Argentinian (it was using the vos form, which is pretty unique to Argentina).
I can confirm that there are indeed many Argentinians in Spain, so ChatGPT did a great job talking like an Argentinian person living in Spain, when you asked it to speak in an accent from Spain. I give it 10/10. Ok, in all seriousness, why do people do these kinds of videos if they can't know whether ChatGPT does it right or not? It spoke with an accent 100% from Argentina, and you gave it 7/10. There are a lot fo English-speaking youtubers doing videos, asking it to speak in Japanese, German Arabic, French, etc., and they have no idea that it talks with a heavy American accent in all those languages when the conversation is in English.
I enjoyed this video. I too just found out about the new chagpt 4.o "advanced voice" mode. It's pretty great so far! My first comment about your experience here would be that, to me, all the supposed accents it was emulating sounded like Argentina the most. As you mentioned, too many "Jhuh" sounds for the double LL's and to me, WAY too many aspirated S sounds (swallowed S sounds)... Again, they all pretty much sounded "the same" to me. On my phone I've been using the Brittish sounding woman's voice. She seems to do a really good Mexican accent, which has been the focus of my studies (since I grew up in Los Angeles, it's the most natural sounding to me). I ran out of the 'free' prompts so I've upgraded to the "Plus" version for $20/mo. It still has 'some' limits, but not quite as many as the 'free' version. (more prompts per hour, per day)... Thanks again for your video!
Here in Sweden we have been warned about criminals using chat GPT to impersonate relatives asking for money. A sample from a social media post is enough to create this. Don't want to scare people but this technology does have it's downside. Great video as usual.
That's funny! A little freaky really :-). I was born in the last century, so how this stuff has advanced is a bit mind-blowing. I remember when speech recognition came out, and how poorly it worked. And then text-to-speech, which sounded really bad. Now that stuff works quite well, and the AI on top of it is another ball of wax entirely.

Not sure why they do that but it does make it a little frustrating when you see videos like these using features that aren't available on yours LOL

The ChatGPT that I have doesn’t do all that! I don’t have any subscription or paid program 😮

The Mexican accent sounded almost Argentinian,, the way he pronounced the double LL

Chat GPT missed the "th" sound for "c" in Spain.
Yes. Very disappointing to me.
So, like Barcelona more than Madrid. 😊
@@CineSoar I have used a teacher from Valencia--just down the road.
It's a shame she left out the important part: how to make ChatGPT talk. Mine says it's not capable to talk on this platform (Android).

I remember when Photoshop made pictures hard to believe, and now voices are the same way.
TBH its a little scary though!

The newer version is being released slowly over time in various areas. Might be a while
