I'm bad at platformers and I still managed to complete the game without the map, then replayed it with the update, and doing all the time trials. The people whining need to get good, or good enough, there are advanced techniques available but you do NOT need them to finish the game or even the trials. It took me a lot of tries, but I did it, they can do it.
@@deemer3918 It's just patience. All the complaining seems to stem from the modern inclination of games having as little clashing with the player. You can see it very clearly in Metroid Dread. That game has pretty hard rails with a few sequence breaks. Big budget games don't ask much of the player because they need to appeal to as wide an audience as possible. This is a very similar reason why souls games get so much flak for being too hard. It's a trial and error game. That takes patience.
I first saw this game featured on IronPineaple's channel and I couldn't believe how awesome the platforming looked. The sheer variety of moves you can string together and combine to traverse the levels in creative ways is insane
If only it actually worked well... (Edit: It needs a lot of updates, the graphics wont let it run, well despite it looking like N64 graphics, it will freeze and CTD, obviously they try to hard to make it look retro by adding more over the top graphics and FX, the game forgets your progress so it locks the door that need the keys to open, you get they keys with bosses, but the game wont let you fight the bosses again, it still needs work, lots of people can only play it with a potato mod that takes away a lot of graphics and depending on the mod some items in game will also stop being visible, the list goes on.)

The combat was super boring but i loved the exploration and upgrades in the game. 8/10

What I dislike the most is the level aesthetics. Its trash.
