When it rains, what she does for the door, is place the panel on the inside. I believe you attach it to the hooks, there is no velcro.
Yes, some of us out here were going "No, not that way!! -- to the left, no, the other left - turn it to the left !! . . ." hehehe The sixth panel is a spare maybe? in case one tears? For the door panel I think you can roll it up into the little overhang during the day and at night let it roll down before zipping up the door for the night from in the inside. Learning together is fun.
You're right either sell them in three's and then another package with two and make sure one of those panels have one with a zipper down the middle so you can get in without opening the Velcro. I have camped many a days. Hang out in tent all day! Cook and layout on benches staring at the clouds and watching the squirrels run listening to music burning candles sniffing in the good outdoors but when the sun gets low it's off the truck I go! I already have my extension cord running through the crack in my window lol The outdoors is like the living room and my vehicle is the bed room. Nighty night!!! Lol

Maybe you can attach the "door" panel at the top and roll it up and tuck it under the two flaps at the top, then if it rains you can just drop it down????? Just a thought. Looks really cozy! I think it's good to have extra panels in case something happens to one of the others . As far as getting in and out of the front , since there is velcro holding it together, can't you just pull apart enough velcro on one side to get in and out? But yes , a zipper would be the ideal solution 👌 ! I was laughing so hard at you trying to get it together that I paused the video to pop a bag of movie butter popcorn 🍿😂🤣. Then I came back and enjoyed the video. It looks very nice 👌. Thanks for sharing 👍😊.

That is pretty cool thanks for sharing your camping and cooking life with us. You can make a split down front panel and glue or sew Velcro to get in and out.
I'm loving this tent and that it's not overly complicated. I'm a vertically challenged and only 5 feet tall. So I love that this tent is spacious but something someone like me can still assemble it.
I was cheering you on while laughing. Saying he didn’t read the instructions. 😂. As for the zipped side can you put the panel on and roll it up during the day. At night or when you want privacy, roll the panel down. It should be easy to roll it up or down when you need too. Just a thought

Hey Anthony...nice set up...just to let you know...they do have a door panel that zips up in the middle with tie backs, to tie back 1 or both screen doors back...and plus they have panels with windows for air flow...take care and be safe out there...
But that's the beauty of living the life you're living. You can take your time and enjoy while you're figuring things out. After my husband went to be with the Lord, I'd planned to move into a smaller place. Did some research and discovered rent and small house costs are REDICULOUS! I have a brick ranch with three bedrooms; two full bathrooms, living room, den, large kitchen, a dining room, full back and front porches. My mortage is less than $550.00 a month. I'm staying right here!

8/30/22...ONCE it is all set up---you need to use MARKER to put DIRECTION ARROWS ➡️ on for both putting up + taking down/storing for next time. Save you lots of time ⏲️ + trouble....
Haha. This reminded me of those funny Mr Bean" videos when he was confused 😕 and trying to figure out something. And the captions and facial expressions when you looked into the camera. So funny. I'm going to watch it again.
You will not regret getting the panels. Come winter you can get some tiles like you put under exercise equipment that lock together and use a mr buddy gas heater with precautions . Look out for some end pieces of carpet .

I would get some epoxy and velcro from the hardware store, and put velcro along the top of that tent on the inside. Then, I'd use one of the panels to hang it from the inside. That way, you can get in, and put the last panel up if you want complete privacy. When you exit, just take half the panel down, exit, and come back in, and stick it back up. That tent was a great find, and took your camping experience to the next level. I wonder how long it takes to dismantle the whole thing and pack it up.
*PLEASE READ*I have the same tent. The fourth panel can be put on but from the inside. There is no velcro to attach to but there are hooks in the panel corners that can be attached.

I totally agree with you that Gazelle should make a panel for from doorway, with a zipper down in the middle. Their wind panel package only comes with 3 panels, so I imagine they would release another kit that has 2 more wind panels and 1 with the zipper doorway. It's a ripoff for sure, but at least we would get the door panel.

Beloved Anthony, if you can, dig at least a 6" to 8" square trench around your tent and scoop each corner outward another 8" or so, so when it rains, the water won't leak inside the tent. Make sure to dig it close enough to the edges of the tent to capture the rain so it will run outward towards the corners. It's almost like you're making a "gutter trench" around the tent. Do this only if a lot of rain is expected! Don't make it too obvious as to destroy the camp grounds. I'm speaking Military talk to you. You'll thank me later 😉! Peace & Blessings Love. If you find a local seamstress or shoe repair service, they could cut your 4th panel 3/4 of the way from the bottom and put on a heavy duty zipper. Boom, a door!

As much as I hate reading instructions, I'm grateful for pictured guides. My hubby will not look at either.
My husband uses a similar but bigger tent for outdoor shows. There are two panels that zip up and down the middle to enter in and out.
Like making the bed get the sheet half on and say Damnit! When you realize its the wrong side of sheet 😂😂
My mother used to say when all else fails, read the directions! It has proven to be time saving too...

I totally agree with you that Gazelle should make a panel for from doorway, with a zipper down in the middle. Their wind panel package only comes with 3 panels, so I imagine they would release another kit that has 2 more wind panels and 1 with the zipper doorway. It's a ripoff for sure, but at least we would get the door panel.

Beloved Anthony, if you can, dig at least a 6" to 8" square trench around your tent and scoop each corner outward another 8" or so, so when it rains, the water won't leak inside the tent. Make sure to dig it close enough to the edges of the tent to capture the rain so it will run outward towards the corners. It's almost like you're making a "gutter trench" around the tent. Do this only if a lot of rain is expected! Don't make it too obvious as to destroy the camp grounds. I'm speaking Military talk to you. You'll thank me later 😉! Peace & Blessings Love. If you find a local seamstress or shoe repair service, they could cut your 4th panel 3/4 of the way from the bottom and put on a heavy duty zipper. Boom, a door!
