The s21 ultura always keeps the performance by closing the apps in the background, but the 13 pro max runs the apps in the background despite its 6 gb ram, so the 13 pro max heats up very quickly.
I just wonder how Apple compress the apps in the background. This is just incredible how many apps it can hold in the background even with just 6gb of ram.
I'm an S21U fan by the way and I fully stand at the Samsung side but when it comes to app compression, Apple is just on another level.

Can I suggest maybe letting phone idle for a minute after startup to get all the startup procedures out of the way.
I usually do that with most devices.
When you start a computer you should let it sit for a few minutes.
Good stuf to know because it'll make the device run faster.
But also these are high end phones with lots of RAM and they are really fast so they take less time to boot up.
You have to disable the option that closed the apps in the background on the s21 ultra.. because he have a 12 g of ram, so it’s impossible that he can not manage the apps and keep them open.. I have both phone, and the s21 ultra still managing better the background… you have to make another video with the right settings … but good job anyway

no. iphone is simply far better in ram management ever since they chose to add 6gb on the pro models

The reason why some apps are fast on s21 is due to the optimization done by the developers for the 888. This comparision would make even more sense when done after a couple of months after the A15 optimization.

The iPhone loads smaller games slightly faster but the s21 ultra loads bigger games way faster. I'd rather load bigger games really fast like the s21 ultra. It loaded asphalt 9 extremely fast

@Kenny not all apps. It reloaded like around 14 out of the 20 he launched (which is still pretty bad). Hopefully One UI 4.0 improves the ram management.
My question is, is he using the unstable One UI 4? Did he limit background apps? The ram management on the Samsung doesn't seem natural when compared to other speed tests.

Довольно интересно смотреть на то как subway на samsung якобы перезапустился, может всё-таки нет, может так происходила подгрузка данных, но из-за малой мощности процессора snapdragon 888 на один поток она происходила медленнее. Хотелось бы увидеть тест снова, но с действиями в приложениях, чтобы было точно ясно, перезапустилось приложение или нет, вот если бы в subway немного пробежать, 5 сек например, то было бы ясно перезапустилось оно или нет.

Its a bad test cuz if u restart iphone then alot of the apps when they are opened are slowed down like many of the games since the last update. So the test its not accurate unless u do all the apps then the restart
