Thank you for another great video. I'm feeling lately like I've gotten too far into Czech language without a strong foundation... almost like i need to go back and review all the basics... like I'm in a whirlwind. I need to abandon Duolingo. What should my next step be?

I am not sure what your level is. I am sorry you feel lost - it's not easy when you don't have many opportunities to practice Czech with the natives. You can obviously study a lot of Czech with my videos but I have also have video courses that are more structured. If you're interested, you can see them listed here: czechbyzuzka.com/video-courses/

@CzechbyZuzka I'm not sure either. Outside of Prague where I have to speak Czech they are impressed. I can speak but I can't hear because of the speed and limited vocabulary. I can read simple things pretty well given time. I think the one area I need to step back and focus on are the various cases and how words change, especially this, that, these, yours, mine, etc. I have gotten lazy and push ahead without truly memorizing these rules. I follow you and your websites, but of you can point me to a good review of these items I will lookin closer. Thanks again!

Jak ti chutnala (polevka) nebo Jak se ti chutnala?

"Chutnat" would not take _se_ in this context (liking the taste).
Chutnalo ti to? / Jak ti to chutnalo?
Chutnala ti ta polévka? / Jak ti chutnala ta polévka?
