Thanks for introducing me to this song and for singing and playing it with such passion and emotion. Always grateful for your creativity and generosity in sharing your music with us.
Congratulations! You have created a classic rendition of this moving piece of Americana. There will be many besides me who will go to your version before listening to all the greats who have done it.
Jiminey Crickets! I just saw the janies got a gun from 4 years ago and now this. I loved Justified show and ths is so beautiful. i gotta go google you now. like i imagine finding americas got talent for some reason but girl...theres like no way you arent going places.
@@guitaleleoeuvre That's so cool! I've never been to that part of Kentucky, but I'm from coal mining country in Northeast Pennsylvania so the song still hits close to home for me ❤️
Nice version, I hadn't heard this song before (I don't follow country music much) but it's a great song, love the lyrics. Like your choice of instrument too, the traveling acoustic brings out the feel of the song. By the way, I just posted a little discussion on my channel about using the word "cover"--I feel it kind of diminishes what we do when we play and sing songs others wrote, but that's just my own humble opinion. Rock on!

Wow! You performed that with the heartfelt soul it needed to carry the lyrics through. Great job - just beautiful.
