Lucho Salinas i love that part, to me is like the ultimate meaning of life, I hate when ppl want to give up on each other because of ppl lying, being cruel and making mistakes I do believe that every person does mistakes and that doesn’t make them bad or malignant, also I hate when some ppl say that we are not special and they denigrate other people existence and even their own saying that we are just dust when that’s not true at all, our entire existence is a proof that miracles exist how can something so organized such as life can exist in a universe full of chaos? To me it is a miracle, we have to believe we are special, because if we weren’t living, the universe would not even exist. what’s the point of having a cd if u can’t play it? The same logic applies to us, whats the point of having an entire universe without someone to see and appreciate it? That’s why we are so special and i hope i never stop to be amazed by how wonderful ya people are. Sorry lmaooo I got too carried away but this song made me feel and remember all of these thoughts with only these stranzas that u wrote

Never in my life I cried so much during a concert than during the first couple of minutes of this song. Listening to it, I made it through one of the toughest years of my life, but it wasn't until I saw it live that I understood how much the lyrics meant to me.
I feel as if many of their songs are about un-reciprocated love, and maybe that's why so many people are connecting with it, myself included. =(

This band have one of the best creative bass players around. .
The bass player is DEFINITELY what keeps me here. And the Vocalist. And the Lyrics. Yeah!! The whole band!!

I was looking for a song ...about a dream ...of someone with me. Found this one. Never heard of it...nor the group. I'm glad I found it. I really like it. I love finding some new(to me) songs. Now I can listen to it more often. It reminds me of how someone found me....on the beach.

My younger brother John and I bonded over many Future Islands songs several years back, including this one. He passed away from cancer at 34 in 2018. Every time I hear this song, I think of him.

I'm just finding them on Austin City Limits... In that sweet spot immediately listening! Like a cross of Billy Idol and Depech Mode or A Flock Of Seagulls or whoever. 80's/90's Synth Pop is maybe my second favorite genre next to Florida Breaks... That synthesizer work, vocals, drums and bass! Glad this is coming back! Major awesomeness and great work dudes if you read. Dang Sam's animated and has some range, very talented. Chills and almost tears they're so good.. This is music :)
